Wordophile is a minimalistic, clean and addicting word puzzle game. It contains elements similar to crossword puzzles and word jumbles. You can complete the game in any order you like. There is no time limit, no score and no penalty for trying different combinations. In case you get stuck, there are extra hints available to help you.
This game has been designed from the ground up to work with any screen size to give the user an enjoyable experience. If you enjoy games like crosswords, Syllacrostics, anagrams, Wheel of Fortune, hangman, or any game with words, you will love this game.

I love puzzle games Ann’s came across this o one Ann’s found it to be challenging but loads of fun

I used to sit up nights filling in puzzle books and syllacrostics like this were my favorite. These are not easy as they are not necessarily broken up syllabically. Great job!
Needs an Editor
PennyPress called this ‘Syllacrostix’ I believe . Loved the game as a child, due to wonderful shared experiences of word puzzles with my mother. This seems to be the only version out there! Though the words are not divided into etymological syllables, the spelling challenge remains. As with all word game apps, there are ‘alternative’ spellings, ‘new’ definitions, with a hefty dose of subject/verb disagreements and syntax errors, just to keep you on your toes. Plus, those damned in-app purchases for additional puzzles. Sooooo 2014…
