Good app but new update app not working
I only gave it a 1 star because it made me choose an option! Purchased this app and used successfully for several months. Was great until it crashed and I lost everything! So 4 weeks of detailed payroll info is gone. I tried several times to contact support and zero response. A couple weeks later and now I have to try and figure out the hours I worked in October by going through location tracking on my phone, old sent emails and texts 😢. I work in Real Estate so my hours cover 7 days a week and I often work from home late into the evening or at very random times. Some days I clocked in and out 3 to 4 times. Very disappointed. This will absolutely cost me money as there is no way I will be able to figure out all of the hours.
There is no provision for self employed hours and contract pay. I dont get paid weekly or any specific time period... its per job which may last a day or a few weeks. Thats my time period... not weekly, semi monthly etc. Too bad.
really like it! i use it everyday to roughly calculate my pay checks but mostly to keep my hours documented. i wish there were an easy break option tho!
It works pretty good, I can see how much I would be getting, even with days that I haven’t worked but are on my schedule.
It’s not correctly calculating my pay for some reason . I’ve punched in my hourly rate and time worked and it’s not showing the right amount.
This app is awesome. i normally don’t put reviews in for apps but i think this one deserves a good one. it is so convenient and accurate it helps me keep track of how much money i should be making and it’s so easy to use! i definitely would recommend this app it is great!
As the title suggests, this is the best that I found for the multiple jobs/hours and wages I have to keep track of. A few issues or things to consider, for some jobs I have deductions and it would be nice to have a spot for that to be included (whereas now, I need to make up a separate job and pay myself the deductions as an hourly wage). It would be great if it worked across devices (iPad/iPhone). Although I have saved it to the cloud and restored it on different devices, the dates and entries only show what I’ve typed on that particular device. It would be nice to have an option to archive items (such as all the jobs in October that I want to keep record of but no longer need for the pay period) and have a way to organize the archived items in folders that I can make. Lastly (for now), I wish there were some sort of memory for jobs and hours so I don’t have to manually put in the date and time every time (Example, click a button that says ‘reoccurring shift’ and have those hours be shown) although the clock in/clock out function is interesting. Food for thought... if this was all possible, I’d pay a yearly subscription fee.
I love this app. Super reliable. But it hasn’t been updated for IOS 15 and now I can’t get any of my work. Please help!
The first and most critical flaw is the lack of easy (or auto!) sync. When using this app on two devices, you have to manually back up the data on the most recently used device to the cloud, and then manually restore the data on the device you intend to use next. While these processes are generally quick, the margin of error increases exponentially by being required to do these steps every time. It’s tedious and shouldn’t be necessary. Major issue loses it two stars for me. And that’s generous, considering what this could cost in billing errors. The other improvement I’d recommend is more of a suggestion. On each job, there is the option to fill out a percentage for withholding. This number, if used, automatically deducts this amount from the total which would be sent to the person being billed. It would be nice if this feature had the option to calculate a withholding percentage without deducting it from the actual total that gets sent to the person being billed for the hours. For example, if I want to set aside 35% for tax purposes, I’d like to be able to send the gross amount off to the person being billed, and also be able to see how much of that money will be my net. This would just make it easy to keep my money and uncle sam’s money separate in my head from the moment I earn it. So if I were doing $1000 worth of work and sending the statement to the paying client through this app, it would still tell the, to pay $1000 but it would also show me the 35% withholding to be withheld by me, so I’d know that only $650 of that should be counted as liquid on my end. I’ve done a work around so that I have the visual - but it is tedious, too. What I do is set up the job twice, and duplicate the entries. In one I do it as zero withholding to indicate what the client will pay, and in the duplicate I have it calculate with the withholding, so I know how much of that money will actually be mine, after I pay my taxes... I hope this feedback results in improvements. And if it does, I will revise my two star rating and edit my review to praise the responsiveness of the developers. Thank you. The other is more of a recommended improvement that I’d like to see.
