The app is missing most of the critical information you will need to follow a competition. The website is required. If you download the app and try to go to the website, it may send you directly to this terrible app.

Half the condensed replays aren't condensed. Usually those same replays glitch out if the phone is rotated for full screen. Oh yeah, and make sure you cover the screen with your hand so you don't see who won stated directly above the replay button and in the home screen, please stop that.

(May 2022) I have to be fair. It seems WSL read my (and others) complaints and fixed the auto-play issue. Margaret River is the second event in a row it’s working as expected. 3 stars now. (Feb 2022) As surf became more mainstream both WSL app and their website moved on the opposite direction. All my complaints are related to usability. For instance, when an event is in progress and you click on it, the app gives you the the following options (watch live now, watch day x replay, select a heat to watch, see results). I cannot see the results only as the app arbitrarily opens the video. I don’t want to see the video, I want to see the results, otherwise I’ve clicked on watch now or even used YouTube. Oh I miss old ASP days.

Just opened the app to enjoy the Portugal finals. As usual, the spoiler is on the front page. Congratulations Griffen Colapinto. I won’t bother watching the action or the ads now. Why can’t they fix this simple problem??? Spoilers are carefull concealed everywhere else.

Only see the first few minutes and then goes black. Hear the sound but no images. Only can see the ads!

Pretty buggy and surf heat videos keep restarting so all I see is ads over and over again.

Honestly one of the glitchiest apps I’ve ever used. Not only does it glitch, the WSL has completely changed their fantasy’s point system to make no sense at all. I’m not even going to bother next year. I’m pretty done with this organization in general, they are ruining the systems of the professional sport and this year absolutely ruined fantasy. Fix the ridiculous glitches and stop changing everything every f$@“ing year.

The interface to watch replays and events is the absolute worse. It’s almost worth it to get Facebook to watch events easier. And if you want to watch on a big screen with chromecast... good luck

The new user face for fantasy on the app is terrible and so hard to use compared to the old version where you used to be able to see everyone in your league’s team and points on one screen. Hoping they bring it back
