Online play, lack of fast forward other turn painful
Works nice, remember the 1995 original. For online play it would be great to be able to fast forward their turn.
This version doesn't work on smartphone
I played Worms on PC and previous versions of Worms on smartphones and really enjoyed them. However this version isn't great. The main problem I have is the User Interface just doesn't fit right. Trying to gauge a shot is really difficult because the worms are all tiny and the screen doesn't pan right. I bought this app and have played it about 5 times.

Online doesn't work
Everytime I finally get a online ranked game going it fails when I set the location of the worms and its the other persons turn
Bugs
When I try to play a ranked match it will not allow me to do this, so I cannot play the game making it pointless

I love the game but when I try to sign in for online it bugs
Brilliant addition to the Worms series, but online play is very buggy.
I agree with Bart B. I've played Worms since 'Worms: Forts Under Siege' came out, it has become my favourite video game series of all time, so I had to download this, (by the way, thanks for making this App of the Week, hopefully more people discover this series) it's absolutely brilliant in graphics, gameplay, virtually everything. Apart from online play, the fastest-responding rival I played with took their turn every 5 minutes. I'm not sure if it's because of my rival or is it the games fault, I'm guessing it's the game as I have battled about 20 players and I have had the same issue with every one of them. Pls fix that.
Online Gameplay Buggy - Support Non-existent
When it works, the game is great fun, but when your accounts gets messed up, and it probably will if you play enough, you will get no support. Every few months, games will stop ending when your opponent fails to take their turn, and your hard-earned cards will start to become trapped in these zombie-games. Historically, an email to support would get your account fixed, but not anymore. I have been waiting for almost 4 months, and although I got my call escalated right up to the support manager, my account has still now been fixed. In January the support manager claimed he does not have the power to get the engineers to do a cleanup, but that they will do a cleanup periodically, so I should wait. When I asked how long, I was told there was no way to know, but cleanups were usually done when new versions of the app were released. It is now mid-April, and the app has been updated, but games are still stuck in limbo, along with a lot of hard-earned cards. If Team17 could actually support their customers, this would be a 5* game, but since I have paid my money but have been un-able to play for 4 months, I think a 1* rating is the only fair rating. A paid game needs to actually work properly!
