xEngine for Safari

it’s supposed to replace the default search engine, so it should only need the permission for reading Google.com (and maybe the others) and not all the website. Please fix that and it will be 5 stars. Otherwise, since It’s not open source, how are we supposed to trust this extension?

Je cherchais depuis longtemps comment faire pour mettre par défaut Brave Search sur Safari sans trouver solution car il n'existe pas de plugin comme avec Qwant. Ce n'est plus un souci avec xEngine ! Pour que ça fonctionne, il faut que Safari soit paramétré comme navigateur par défaut et avec Google en moteur de recherche. Il faut bien penser à activer l'extension xEngine également et le tour est joué. Un grand merci au dev !

Used to work every time, now it loads ddg for most of my searches as that’s the Safari default. Was good while it lasted.

I downloaded, opened the app, followed the prompts, allowed the extension, selected Brave as my search engine and NOTHING HAPPENED lol even restarted my phone and still nothing
