Was worried this week when I realized it hadn’t loaded any new comics in a while, but somehow after over ten years the developer is still finding time to support his old free app as soon as problems arise. About as feature-complete as it could be, and while it doesn’t support the few interactive comics that have appeared over the years it does a solid job with the rest of them. Search functionality is surprisingly effective, and will check titles, hover-text *and* a transcript of all text within the images themselves, which is fantastic for trying to find that one comic you remember the punchline to but really want to show someone.

Thank you for updating this to the modern UI. Even before your update it was the best xkcd app on the App Store but now it's simply perfect. Randall would be (probably is) proud.

I've been using this app for probably a year now, and it's my pass time on bus rides and before bed. It lets you search for comics by title, number, and even text in the comics. They are saved on your device once viewed, so you can access them again even without data. However, you can delete stored ones if you need the space. In a few words, I've used it for a long time, and expect to keep using it for a while more.

Please fix the shuffle icon it's annoying when you accidentally fix it

Great app. I use it all the time without any problems. It would be nice if you could turn on push notifications to tell you when a new comic is out.

the unread have a download arrow next to comics, read ones have view arrow. there is option to download all at once too. I like the features.

1 in 4 comics would simply load a blank image. There was no option to attempt to reload the image. With 25% of comics unviewable, app is useless.

I've used this app for well over a year now and it's great. Never crashes and lets me save any of the strips in my photos. When the strip is super interactive or flashy you will need to use safari but that's pretty rare.

I love Xkcd! This app is a simple & convenient way to keep up with new posts and browse the expansive catalogue of 1000+ earlier comics. Definitely worth purchasing. But I am disappointed the large scale comics are essentially unavailable since the resolution is too poor to read them. I realize the writer if the app isn't the writer of the comics, but it is worth mentioning.
