UNITY FOR IPAD?????????
i am so excited that there is finally a real 3d games workspace on ipad!!! please add a UI darkmode, though.
A lot of potential. Small Issue.
So when trying to use a folio keyboard (Logitech folding iPad Case) it is not functional with the keyboard controls. I'd really like to use this to block out some ideas or create concepts on the go but limiting it to touch controls with the keyboard not functioning or being able to be remapped slows down my workflow. App seems awesome but hopefully there is a fix that will be released that takes into mind input from keyboards like logtiech/magic keyboard.
Easy XR Entry
I am not an XR pro however I am VR/AR enthusiast and while using my Ipad Pro M2 I came across this app. I feel in love how easy it is to accomplish scenes to get a prototype or even a full experience completed. However I have not been able to find a tutorial for this app. So If there’s someone who actually found one please share :) Goodie good good.
Phenomenal app: 2 complaints
I’ve used this app for a little while(about 2 weeks), and I love it. You can build entire games in the app, albeit simple ones. I have 2 issues though. First, this app drains your battery, and by “drain”, I mean DRAINS FAST. I’m talking 100% battery to 5% in under 90 minutes. I’ll admit my iPad is a bit old, but I feel like this program could be seriously optimized. My recommendations would be to have fewer details on objects in the edit mode and increase contrast while decreasing overall brightness, as well as other various optimizations regarding things like RAM usage. My second issue is the sheer amount of crashing that occurs, and the absurd load times and save menu system. I’d say the first and second of those are due to my older device, but the menu save system is pretty terrible. I know that all sounded pretty negative, but don’t get me wrong; this app is incredible. I’m thoroughly enjoying making my own applications on here and I’d rate this overall as a 9.5/10, because of the price, the amount of free stuff, and the fact there really isn’t any other app that has all the features as this one. Great job developers. Please keep this app free and accessible to students like me :)
