Choose ultimate convenience and luxury by choosing the xxter controller. The xxter controller is the central module in your house or building, enabling you to automate and operate all (KNX) functions in your house or building with this app on your tablet or smartphone. The functionalities will be installed online by your installer once, after which you, as the end-user, have control of the appearance and the available control elements. To connect to your xxter unit you need this free app, making the operation of your available (KNX) functionalities in your house or building easier than ever! Moreover, it’s sustainable as well.
In addition to the app, there are many automation options, such as the presence simulation, scene module, planner and extensive scripts and triggers. These make the xxter an indispensable element in a smart home. You can design the visualization in this app completely to your own liking, with different layout options and your own photos, icons and colors. To allow connecting from the internet to your device without any port-forwarding, you can subscribe to the xxter Connect Service. The subscriptions can be purchased per month or year through the in-app service store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel your subscription through your Account Settings.
You can buy SMS/text messages for receiving alerts through SMS/text messages instead of email or push notifications in the in-app service store.

Heel fijn gebruiksvriendelijk systeem.
App reageert vreemd op iOS 16.0.3
Sinds de update van iOS 16.0.3 op iPhone reageert de app vreemd. Bijv open therm kun je de modus kiezen maar dan gaat de “oude” modus niet uit. Daarmee lijkt het of je ze alle 4 (in mijn geval) kunt hebben aan staan. De wijzigen worden ook niet doorgegeven. Op iPad os 16 werkt het nog wel goed

Handig
Bediening van Scene ,klokschakelingen en het totale knx systeem makkelijk gemaakt en als schil van de knx installatie ook uitgangen naar diverse andere systemen zoals muziek , camera en http triggers handig en een positieve toevoeging voor je knx systeem

Betrouwbaar stukje hardware om alles uit je KNX installatie te halen. Erg blij met de koppelingen die te maken zijn met diverse andere systemen. Heb nu nog maar 1 app nodig om alles in huis te bedienen.
Beware subscription based
Unpleasantly surprised to find an in-app service store for paid features like messages and alerts or cloud connect service. For me this might be a reason to revise my KNX setup and chose a different server.

Prima app maar mag doorontwikkeld worden
De app functioneert goed maart wel wat meer mogelijkheden. Heb het idee dat ze de ontwikkeling wat links laten liggen en meer inzetten op de integratie met bijvoorbeeld HomeKit. Daarnaast zijn de scenes niet meer zichtbaar in de app en dus ook niet aan te passen!

we have tested the XXter knx base station and app since May 2012. Using Ipod devices as controller, IPhones and a range of IPads. We have had no downtime or errors using XXter. We can highly recomment XXter. Their service and response time is superb.
