Yapp Random Reminders

Lovely, no ads which is amazing, just simple, wholesome and effective. Only problem is that notifications don’t seem to show up on screen at the moment they start so I only find them when I happen to look at the slide menu

Als ik een melding ontvang en ik klik daar op dan word de app geopend. Verder gebeurt er niets. Ik ontvang geen meldingen met mijn quotes van de dag. Jammer!

I use this to remind myself of mindfulness activities recommended in Headspace courses. Way better than noisy iOS alarms.

I was looking for an app that allowed me to make custom reminders that would be sent randomly but in a non-obtrusive way. Just there. Yapp was exactly what I was looking for. Pleasant app interface, easy to use, customisable messages with a soft notification sound. I found some bugs and contacted the developer. He stayed in touch with me, keeping me updated and working tirelessly until they were all resolved which was really kind and also interesting!
