Yelp: Local Food & Services

I have LOVED Cafe Rio sweet pork and grilled fajita veggies on my salad in the past…🤔. I went there this evening at 7 pm (they’re open til 10 pm…) for the same. They were out of grilled veggies and the obviously bothered young lady attending to us said they weren’t making any more. (with three hours to close..?) Ok 👌. We went elsewhere… Whatever..? Somebody PLEASE send a Starbuck’s trainer there. Could be highly beneficial…🙏

Today I went to Home Depot to look for stolen luggage from my house . The thief tried to charge on my card and was denied . So I went there to see if they could help me with video. Not only did they help, the guy in rental desk helped me look in all trash cans and surrounding areas. Thank you to kind people there! Chivalry is alive !

It was the worst coffee ever, it was burned it looks like it was the left overs , absolutely the worst coffee ever we had, we throw it in the trash

Dinner was excellent from the Buratta appetizer to the Ossobuco and Fettuccine with white clam sauce! Natalie and Bernice gave us excellent service throughout the evening.

Yelp is a good source of finding out Before or thinking of going to a unknown establishment be it a restaurant or service provider. The “star” method are good indicators how other rate that place. My experience using yelp have been very useful determining to visit or not. The time and money that it saves saves on the public’s opinion Helps.

Yelp is aggravating because it jerks from screen to screen, usually disconnecting you from the restaurant you were trying to read about.

Still my favorite app to discover new food places when traveling. Also enjoy the Elite community events. Starting to incorporate using Google Maps as a partner more though because the lack of some features on Yelp like seeing what notes I saved for a place directly on the restaurant’s page. Having to go to my bookmarks to find the place then the note is inefficient.

So we’ve been doing takeout from Pac Catch for many years. It’s always been good. Lately ( the last 2years) the sushi has gone downhill. No flavor. Also the Korean bowl is now only in one size and it’s expensive. Also at least every other order they mess up something. Too bad because we live across the street. My son is a firefighter and they stopped ordering from Pac catch for same reasons.
