Yelp for Business Owners

I love Yelp I have received good business from them. But I’ve been on Yelp about 3 weeks now. And I get flood with spam calls. From other service trying to get me to join them. I feel it takes up a lot of my months budget with those calls. Someway Yelp needs to find a way to block how new you are to Yelp.

Not worth the money going to cancel

Almost all the leads when you write to them do not respond or say that they have already hired someone else and they still charge me for just talking to clients

Im trying to delete my business page but they not letting me do it Tried calling customer service but on hold for hours now as it use to be minutes while i was paying them Even after deleting the ads they are deducting money from my card And their review system is trash Stay away from them

Well, I’m grateful for Yelp because it is helping my business to grow exactly how I want it to. Keep the leads coming!

When I called to pause my ad project, they don’t try to listen me and just try to keep my ad running. They don’t care that I have to go to the surgery. Also for this reason they stopped my “nearby jobs” on old terms. For now they want 50$ per each response like “I no need this service anymore”. Fools. I have rebuilt my marketing budget without help at all and recommend to all businesses owners do the same or you will or swallow things like fake reviews, deleting good reviews by BOT as well as bad quality leads

I recently signed up for ads with yelp after they convinced me I wouldn’t have to pay anything upfront. However, just two weeks later, I was charged $65 despite not getting any clients from the ads. The moment I noticed the charge, I canceled the service immediately. To my surprise, this month I was charged again, even though I wasn’t using their services anymore. When I reached out for clarification, they claimed I had canceled on the 3rd, which didn’t explain the charge. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend their services. Feel free to adjust it if you need!

We did business with yelp and they showed all of our reviews, then when we decided to pull the ads and end the yelp contract, SUDDENLY all of our legitimate 5 star reviews were gone and 1 review remained…. A 1 star profanity laced rant about a $7 item in our store that she wrote 2 years after it supposedly occurred. When we contacted yelp we got the “algorithm” song and dance they give out, but this reviewer to this day, years later at this point, has still only left the 1 review against us. The 5 star reviewers have left more for others or done the same. We are a small business and it’s as if they want us to fail. I have called numerous times and no one will help. I consider yelp to be the biggest scammers on the internet.
