This app has a long list of postures/asanas with both Sanskrit names with diacritics as well as Sanskrit written. Not to mention- audio to properly demonstrate how to say it! Also includes some basic info around asana series and yoga philosophy. Lovely, easy to use, extremely helpful, and honestly the best app like this I’ve found. Thanks Rajeev!

Neat little app that has pictures of yoga poses, their English names, Sanskrit names (in Sanskrit and transliterated to English) and pronunciations. I love the etymology feature as it helps me dissect the pose names and figure out what a pose might be. If I can offer a suggestion, the layout suffers on newer devices like iPhone 13. So may be the developer needs to rebuild for the newer devices. Nonetheless this is a gem of an app.

The app is exactly as described- and easy to navigate. I love the list of prayers with audio sample and the ability to switch between English & Sanskrit which helps to learn the makes of asanas. Also a guide that breaks down Sanskrit word roots to build your Sanskrit comprehension!

Very useful info and accurate. It breaks down yoga as a full practice not just the poses. The audio is clear and the app I easy to use. I’m happy I downloaded it. I will be using it every day. I recommend it to anyone learning yoga as a life practice or even as your form of meditation.
