Takes for ever to switch on. Like you watch a smiley face for 20 minutes. Downloads are erratic.

Be careful: you’d think you can invest in a yoto and use it for years, but ours is not working properly just outside it’s 2yr guarantee period and Yoto won’t stand by their product.

The player and cards are wonderful! We love them so much that they’re a nightly staple in my twins’ bedtime routine. The app however, which we use for travelling, is the most frustrating thing! The stories are so temperamental and seem to only play properly occasionally. Please fix the app! We miss our bedtime stories!

As a family these are excellent audio players. We have 2 minis for travelling and a full size player in the bedroom. Between the audiobooks and loading them up with music our girls start trading and listening to music independently. We also use the full size player as a nighttime clock for our 6 year old. I would like the option to change different times for different days (even just weekday and weekend options would be great). The option to have the backlight come on automatically at night would also be great (currently you need to lay it on its face to do this, but then cants see the time). Overall the app and the players are ace - go buy one!

The onboarding experience of setting up the players with the app and downloading content is really unintuitive and I felt I wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out when it should be delightful, fun and easy. Yoto Team - this journey needs to be totally redesigned to fit the expectations you’ve set for your customers. PS - thanks for the response, but treating App Store Reviews as a support ticket system misses the point.

It’s wonderful - we love the Yoto ecosystem. But is there any news on offline / download modes on a phone? We often buy a story on a long journey, or want to play stories in the car, but it just makes our child grumpy as it rarely works well over 4g etc. this is particularly annoying when eg Apple Music is working fine.

I was very pleased that you had added the Yoto to Apple CarPlay, as we often listen to the Yoto on long journeys. However, so far the library has failed to load every time we have tried to use it.
