Slow to load, slow to use and you can’t mark messages as read so you have a permanent unread message notification on the app. All this and I’ve had it 30mins.

Flickr used to be the benchmark, but now there are no longer special offers or deals to be had. I tried this for to meet new photographers and models, and so far it’s been great. There are some fabulous photographers out there, and it’s a pleasure seeing their work.

I’m a pro photographer using many equivalent platforms, for what YouPic are offering they’re very expensive. Look …elsewhere there are lots of other options. I joined via my Instagram profile, uploading profile pic & completing my Bio details. I signed out and in to check the system worked. However, when i downloaded this app, it failed to recognise my login and took me to the “new member” protocol…. Even though the web based system still recognises me and YouPic have sent me welcome emails. YouPic are new, trying to bite off a chunk of this valuable marketplace. But they have bugs & pricing issues to resolve first.

Not a bad app. My main issue is when scrolling down the home page looking at people I follow pictures the app constantly refreshes me back to the top all the time. This is annoying and i end up giving up and closing the app. This defeats the idea of liking people i follow. Have reported the issue but no fix

It’s a scam to get money off you. Don’t believe ANYTHING you see on this site. Likes, responses, everything is fake and the only reason they show you love is to get money off of you!

Very good one constructive criticism A bit complicated of uploading photos

It is a shame because this is very simple photography platform to use. Great structure. Unfortunately, there are problems with this app, the uploading error which is a massive pain.

The level and range of photography on here is brilliant and the app is simple to use; the problem is, it’s too simple. Basic features that are in the browser are missing. There is no list of common subject categories in the browsing area. You have to type in your search every time: a minor quibble. But there also appears to be no way to scroll through the pictures in a particular category or a specific photographers page in full-screen. You have the thumbnail page to scroll down, you have to tap an image to see it larger, then swipe it away or press ‘x’ to close it to continue browsing. Why can’t we tap or swipe left and right to browse through full-screen images? This seems an oversight for a wholly visual app. Give it a try if you are interested in photography, but don’t expect to be blown away by anything other than the talent of the other users. Edit: With further use come further niggles. When browsing, the info button tells you what category the picture was posted in but you can’t tap on that category to browse similar images. There is no double-tap to zoom in and out. Dismissing a full-screen image without using the close ‘x’ is frustrating. It requires a very specific quick flick. Too slow? You’ll frustratingly just slide the picture around only for it to settle back in place. I’m sorry to say that I’ve dropped from 3 to 2-stars now and will be deleting the app to save storage space. The browser works better. The only benefit of the app seems to be staying signed in to your account.
