Founded by high school student Luke Penaloza, ZenZone emerges as a revolutionary tool to combat mental health challenges and liberate young people and adults from addiction to social media and video games.
Key Features of ZenZone:
1. Focus Session: ZenZone arms users with the ability to block internet distractions, including social media, games, entertainment, videos, websites and apps. This enables users maintain uninterrupted focus on their goals. Users choose the time and duration of Focus Sessions. Contrary to the built-in screen time feature, Focus Sessions can be activated conveniently at any time in the day for any duration of time.
2. Recurring Focus Sessions: *Unlike built-in screen time features of most computers and phones, ZenZone enables users to set up recurring Focus Sessions, making it easier to develop good habits.
3. Streaks: In a clever judo flip move, ZenZone uses internet-style gamification to reduce addiction to the internet. ZenZone gamifies success in doing Focus Sessions into Streaks. Recognizing that teenagers love to share on social media, ZenZone empowers users to share their ZenZone achievements, encouraging others to do the same and informing allies about progress.
4. Data: ZenZone provides data visibility for Focus Time, helping users to better understand their focus habits and progress.
5. ZenZone Default Blocklist: *Only teenagers know where teenagers hang out. ZenZone’s default Blocklist is curated "by teenagers, for the world".
6. Customizable Blocklists: *Recognizing that each individual is unique, ZenZone enables users to define their own customized Blocklists.
7. Both personal computer and phone apps: Much of people’s work happens on personal computers, not only phones. ZenZone gives users synchronized control over their ability to focus across both mobile and laptop devices.
