Zettelbox - AI Note Taking

I’ve been looking for something like this for linking notes. Other Zettelkasten type apps are more full blown than I want to contend with. I love the simplicity and feel of this. The instructions say I can create a linked note from within another note, but it only allows link to existing. I’d really like the ability to set keywords that cross-link to each other. Some of the other reviews make me hesitant to entrust my data here. It helps to know there’s an export option at least. One user mentioned the Ai suggestions were not in English and I see that too. I translated them and can say they also are not relevant suggestions to me (trends in card design) so maybe linked to the developers account? Personally, I think they should remove the paid tier for early adopters until they have enough feedback to get the bugs worked out.

Most of the app is in English but the Ai prompts are not. I wasn’t able to find a way to fix that.

I love using this app. But it keeps breaking and I would lose the note I am creating.

I purchased a subscription. Every time I open the app I’m presented with the initial startup screen, that’s very annoying, please fix that.

Please allow for multiple “Rediscover” options for different tags e.g., a single card tagged with “Inspiration” to be shown daily, two cards with tag “Home” to be shown daily.

Please fix this. I have 3 other options but love the potential and simplicity of this app. (IPad M4): After the recent update the bugs are still prevalent and app breaking. 1. Constant freezing and crashing 2. New cards won’t register. 3. When clicking any other card in the inbox panel the I get no response. Only shows the very first one. 4. Double lettering. 20% of the time clicking a random card will prompt that card directly on top of previous card and literally has the letters over each other. 5. I can’t ever get anything from clicking the + when trying to add a related card. I want this app to work because it captures the zettelkasten method perfectly. All I want is the app to work and an option to see all of my connections. Like a diagram or similar concept to obsidian. I’d be willing to shill out a subscription if this can be fixed and cool connection view be implemented.

I left a great review for the iOS version of this app and purchased a one-year subscription. I was looking forward to using it on my Mac and my iPad. The Mac app is unusable as it is in a foreign language!!! The iPad app lacks the ability to go to settings and will not sync with my iPhone data. The whole thing feels like a scam and I should have known better than to trust an app that is foreign and reasonably priced.

I love this app and subscribed to the annual plan. With a few more features added, I’ll likely purchase the lifetime. 🌟I love that there is no data collection and no data linked to you. 🌟I love the reasonable subscription price point 🌟I love the option of a one-off lifetime purchase 🌟I love that it’s “just enough” to be perfect for an avid note taker and yet not so much that it’s overwhelming or that you’re paying for advanced features you will most likely never use (I’ve tried Supernotes and like it but the price point is way too high and has features that I personally would never use or need) What it needs to be a 6 ⭐️app ‼️ available in the share menu 🤞 rich text 🤞 color palette wheel for broader tag-color options 🤞 ability to lock app and/or individual notes

I saw the ad and loved the different notebooks and themes it showed. Upon purchasing , I quickly found out that they do not exist on the actual app. Those are all for show. There are no themes or colors or anything like that on this app. So disappointing.

Zettelbox is a good iPhone app. Zettelbox is a bad Mac app. The iPhone version of Zettelbox is in a langauge that I understand. The Mac version of Zettelbox is in a language that I do not understand. Please update the Mac version of Zettelbox so it can be used by international customers who speak English. I would prefer not to leave a bad review, but I have no choice. The "App Support" link directed me to a website that does not exist. The Zettelbox website, which I was able to find via Google, does not have any way for customers to leave feedback. I have paid $15 for an annual subscription to Zettelbox. Had I known that the Mac version of Zettelbox was so subpar, I might have decided against subscribing to Zettelbox.
