Zimperium MTD

No support for this app. Updated phone and am now locked out of work apps. Zips thinks that I should be out of date.

All iOS apps are sandboxed so this isn’t doing anything meaningful other than selling FUD to ignorant CIOs. This app requires reinstall on a daily basis for me because it blocks my Microsoft365 apps stating there is a threat. When I open MTD, it says there are no threats and all is well. I delete and reinstall it, giving it all the ridiculous permissions it desires and then the M365 apps work again for about 24 hours and I must repeat cycle. Meanwhile, this thing is using GPS to run in the background like a trash app from a decade ago, depleting your battery and ultimately shortening it and your devices life. There is no direct service from Ziperium to users and it’s a black box to IT teams, so if it doesn’t work properly, tough luck. It’s infuriating.

I use the QR code scanner all the time to ensure the website is safe. Battery use: initially used about 12% of what was used of the battery the first day I had it installed, but now only uses about 3% of the daily battery consumption.

Scam app

Blocks OneDrive by requiring me to download zips (which I already have and is running fine). I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

Breaks Outlook notifications, trash

Not working after latest update. So annoyed that I’m forced to use this for work but it doesn’t actually work.

Since installing the app, my phone’s battery consumption has increased considerably. During typical WiFi web browsing (with all other apps closed and cellular/Bluetooth off) I estimate the battery drains 50% faster.

This app is just a spam creator. All FUD.

I purchased this app thru Ameritecps.com almost a year now and absolutely love it. I will get a pop up message alert me if the link I click on is a at risk “ This URL is risky” with solution. Same as when my phone automatically log into a free WiFi network when I go out. It will tell me if the free WiFi is risky and been hacked. I shop online, access my account, check Facebook throughout the day and want to be sure my personal data are safe. For $40 a year to protect my privacy and worries free. Totally worth the money.
