While Zoomcare has been great for both routine primary and urgent care, their app does not hold up. The interface is clunky: often have to close out to get it to let me select a date for appointments, the login box is buggy and won’t let you paste a password from a password manager half the time. But mostly, the app doesn’t do a whole lot. Want to check or send a message? That’s back to the website to login again.
Great service, not such a great app. Using the website is just an easier experience.
No medical doctors
I live near a major city, and at all Zoom Care locations, on weekdays, I see only nurses, licensed physician assistants, and naturopathic doctors. Zero medical doctors. There are private urgent care clinics, with full-time medical doctors, that are probably a better alternative. You will likely pay something comparable for a visit either way. Also, ZoomCare seems to have removed the ability to schedule an illness/injury related appointment.
STOP LOGGING ME OUT
I have to log in each time I use this irritating app. I should just delete it and access the mobile website, there’s little reason to use this.
Terrible app-doesn’t work
This is the worst app. It previously worked great until about a year ago. It never works to schedule an appointment, claiming they don’t have clinics in the area-although I select a city in their drop down and have tried the use my location feature. It’s a beyond frustrating user experience.
Horrible UI
You can schedule your child’s appointments, but then there is no way to see you child’s appointments or to cancel them.
It is likely that insurance for dependents is also not remembered.
Epic fail.
Lack of connectivity to Apple Health
I’ve been using ZoomCare for almost 10 years and the app almost as long. Considering how long this app has been out and the service has been around, it’s inexcusable that there’s no integration or connectivity to Apple Health. Since their offices run on Apple products, you’d think they would have worked with the Health app from the start. A use another health provider along with ZoomCare and their app integrates completely with Health so I can easily share my records. ZoomCare doesn’t share so I have to download my records from the desktop site if I want to share it with another health provider. This leads to me having the verbally bridge the gap with medical providers when I’m being seen.
Last update
Since last update app force closes. Can’t set appointments through app anymore due to constant force closing
Good when it works, but MAJOR issues.
I’m on iOS. Running the most recent app update and most recent iOS system. The app has really great potential, but it’s pretty useless for me right now. This most recent update has left the app’s “get care” screen broken and glitched. I can only filter by clinics by city. The option to search for a particular specialty isn’t there. I can only schedule for general injury/illness because the option for selecting anything else just doesn’t show. If I select the “more information” option, it overlays the text across the main screen with no background. That additional info is essentially illegible. The pop up seems to be broken. It also won’t save my insurance information on the app so I have to select the “uninsured” option to make an appointment. It won’t save payment cards either. This app could be incredible, but these glaring issues make it unusable. I hope the developer addresses things soon, because there isn’t a point in my having the app right now with its current state.
Update: Sep 2nd, 2023
App is completely unusable on iOS. It starts up, loads then crashes. I don’t know who they’ve got making this app but it’s just progressively getting worse.
Unable to make appointments
Besides being constantly logged out, I’m unable to manage or make appointments, whenever I try to make one it reroutes me back to the Home Screen of the app and never lets me complete the appointment.
Even with latest update (8/29) now the app won’t even open
Fast, low quality
You can be seen quick but don’t expect it to go smoothly in any capacity.
