Fantastic app
I think it is by far the best app for preparing lectures, notes etc. I tried many of them by now I only use ZoomNotes. Invaluable tool. Never a problem. Maurizio.

AMAZING! I tried several note-taking apps but ZoomNotes is the best one without any doubt. Better than GoodNote 6 for sure, better than Noteful, better than Notability (even more from a quality/price pov), better than Noteshelf 3. It simply offers a lot more than any other app (you can do everything you can imagine) and it does it for a one-time purchase (only 9€). The learning curve is not as huge as someone says, at least to master the majority of functions and features. The only minus is that the UI it’s not so attractive, but you can customize it and make it more enjoyable (btw I hope they will upgrade it sooner or later). Plus: responsive dev, frequently updated.
ZoomNotes is one of the best note-taking apps I ever used. It has so many valuable features no other app has. Unfortunately, it has two main limitations: 1. Even if it can create a backup of all documents, it is possible to recover them one at a time. Document recovery may take a long time in case of a system crash. 2. Document sync between two devices is unpredictable. Sometimes, documents are not synced after a long time; duplicate copies may be created; it may also happen that you lose all updates done on one device while the old version of the other device is taken.
Zoomnotes may be a complicated and takes time to learn to use but if you learn it, any other note taking app may be useless for you. You can add hyperlinks easily to any page of any document in the app and even has an option to add a function if you click it (e.g. Undo link, go to last page etc.). I used the hyperlink in my notes to go to a page full of images so i can know what the thing looks like. Layers are very useful for drawing so i can put an image in a layer and trace onto it in another layer and when i'm done i can remove the layer with the image on it. Layers are also useful for active recall. You'll put the answers on one layer and when you need to study you'll hide the answers and you'll have to know them yourself. If you're done you can check if you done correctly by showing the layer. Zoomnotes also includes a map and a calendar if you want to do journaling and planning. There are rulers and all kinds of them and has a protractor that also acts like a compass (for technical drawing) since you can resize it. The user interface may look bad but i personally don't mind it, you can customize the look of your user interface and you can remove tools you don't find useful. You can have different workspaces (workspaces are the customization options i talked about earlier for the user interface). Page customization: you can customize your own page and you can even have an infinite canvas (good for mind mapping). There are ruled papers, grid papers, music papers, isometric papers and graph papers. downsides: it takes time to learn. When you draw a shape freehand you can't hold the pencil to draw the perfect shape. The user interface is bad (i personally don't mind it and if the developers decide to implement a new user interface i would like them to put an option if the users want the old user interface). Features i would like: i would like tape where you cover the answers and when you tap on it you will make the answer visible, great for active recall. Option if you want to not have the highlighters intersect (if they intersect, they become darker) and have them like it was one highlighter stroke. Having the saved tools movable (like the one in notability before version 14). [i don't know if these are already implemented into the app due to the complexity of the app] Overall, zoomnotes has many features but takes time to learn. It's definitely the best if you have time to learn the app
I tried almost all the notes app in the AppStore poor professional purposes. Many of them are good, other are excellent. ZoomNotes is exceptional. A rare combination of number of functionalities and simplicity. My compliments to the developers. Pro user
It is a good app that I use to take notes. Unfortunately, after the last update the infinite whiteboard is not working and that is because when I opt for using it, it is not infinite. It shows only one page. Please fix it because I like using the infinite whiteboard feature a lot. Thanks!
It’is a very good app, but the best thing is the availability of the programmers, the app is always updated and listens a lot to the advice of its customers unlike many other apps
