To use the check in and check out ticket, you need to enter a cell phone number. However I can’t click the register button after entering in the number. I suspect the form converts the format of the number and the app doesn’t recognize it but there is now way on the iPhone to change this format.

The check-in feature does not work unless you have location service “always on”. If you select ‘allow location access while using the app’, the check-in feature doesn’t work. Guess this means that the ZVV is always tracking you… Also, the most recent update fails to run now. Wish I could roll back to the previous version. Good thing I don’t need to count on the app being functional.

I used this app on my first visit to Switzerland and I can confidently say it was a super asset. This app will be your best friend as it both looks good and functions well. Planning any route is just two taps away with this must-have app. (Note: I was using a travel pass purchased separately, so I did not use the app to manage passes--only used for navigation.)

It works well, but it’s annoying that the location services don’t work unless you have set it to ‘always’. And this drains the phone battery.

Why can’t I simply buy a day pass?

Lieber ZVV - eure App war mal top und auf bestem Weg die mit Abstand benutzerfrundlichste ÖVV-App zu werden. Der Wind hat gedreht. Viel zu kompliziert und unübersichtlich, mit irgendwelchen Fenstern die hereingeflogen kommen wenn eine Maske schon angezeigt wird, nervöses Flimmern das das Scrollen behindert, verschachtelte Menüs, Fokus auf die nicht prioritären Infos, jetzt neu wie bei Microsoft statt wir vorher bei Apple: mit jedem Release noch schlechter, noch mehr unausgereifte Features, und keine Lösung bestehender Probleme. Schade.

Current Location funktioniert nicht. Unübersichtlich. Muss zum SBB App wechseln bis es wieder besser ist. Sorry fürs schlechte Feedback - aber das geht besser.

Wenn da nicht das Problem mit Abo Verlängerung und Hunde Abo gebe, mal gehts, mal nicht, ist Ober nervig, immerhin werden Preise richtig berechnet nicht wie beim sbb app

For second time the app loses track of the journey. Checked in/out on leaving/arriving home town but journey gets terminated. App always indicated checked in. What happens if I encounter ticket inspection when app is not working correctly? App seems to think I leave train and take a bus or tram.
