Lots of improvments
I love how the app does its job. It over delivers
Meh not great not awful
No tutorials on product and doesn’t rlly show you how to use the gimbal nor how to fit it to your phone.
This app is 100% Chinese spyware.
I literally download this app to calibrate the gimbal and check for firmware then delete it. I suggest everyone do the same. The privacy agreement you must accept is long and obscene. No, Zhiyun, you do not need my location at all times. No, Zhiyun, you do not need access to my network. FiLMiC Pro had built in support for this and many other Chinese made gimbals, but the company is no longer developing the app. I’m hoping Blackmagic adds support for gimbals like these.
Reports on EVERYTHING to the manufacturer
The software is horrible to use. The worst thing is it requires access to ALL of your files, photos, videos, data and worst of all LOCATION. All the time. The Chinese government has access to all Chinese company data if requested so this means that every time you use the app you HAVE to report your location to the Chinese government to get access to the software to record. This is 10000% not acceptable and Apple should stop this horrible user privacy rights violation.
IMPOSSIBLE TO USE
Most texts and instructions in this app are in Chinese, they should translate to the phone’s native language, but you have to guess what it might say. COMPLETELY USELESS
App is unstable
I really want to love this product. The gimbal itself seems really stable and nicely thought out. The app on the other hand seems really low quality and has already begun crashing on me on load, despite rebooting my phone or reinstalling the app. Already lost great footage on a first try with recording in the app. Super disappointing. It just crashes midway through the clip. No idea why. I’m running iOS 17 on an iPhone XR. With the case I’m coming in at approx. 236g.
Am having issue
Please you people should help me, am having BLUETOOTH connection problem with mine, it makes me feel bad
Need a update
After charging gets all crazy and it’s really hard to connect to make it work. Not all the bottom or feature works with Apple iPhone 14 ultra. Need a update!!
