5 Calls: Contact Your Congress

This app has guided me on the issues that are important to me and our country. Without it, it would take me much longer to get the calls

This is a helpful starting point but it would be great if we could have the following: 1. More issues added. I don’t see anything in there about impeachment, disability rights, government employee rights, criminal law reform, or the entirety of Project 2025 2. Also there’s no tool that allows us to make these recommendations in app instead of via a review 3. Could we have our own profile? It’d be nice if I could use a script as a starting point, make the adjustments to it that I want, and then save it for future calls to mark off. 4. How often is this app updated with new information/issues?

Talk about telling people how to think! This app only gives you one option on how to approach a subject. Not everything has to be negative. Sometimes we can agree with our representatives and want them to know that as well. I ask of this is Iran because I can’t imagine any other reason for such negativity. If you think this app is good for anything other than humor, then you might want to also download some mental health apps too.

I have never reviewed an app before but 5 Calls’ easy interface and process helped me overcome my fear of calling my representatives. I’ve felt incredibly powerless over the past couple of weeks, and just leaving a voice message that clearly articulated my fears and concerns helped make me fee a little more empowered. Thank you. It would be fantastic if in a future update, you could also include state government as well.

Background As an 5 call app user I discovered in my friend community that one caller got feedback loop from Dem rep: “Took 2 min for my first call to Dave Min’s office. Apparently there was a committee meeting this am where Dave & some others wanted to subpoena Musk. Vote “tabled” of course by the Republican’s.” Enhancement Request Request 1: Add input field in app for constituent to note the feedback received from each GOP/Dem representative. That would be valuable crowdsourced data gathering that the app can aggregate and feedback to the citizenry to take further action/mount more and more organized voter led pressure and transparency. For example I can review updates on all rep response to issue nationally prior to call to action and ask Young Kim office more targeted and updated questions about what actions she is specifically doing as my representative to stop /investigate seemingly illegal activity perpetuated by Elon Musk and why she tabled the proposal to subpoena him. Request 2: Relay use of app and instructions to all federal government representatives to provide feedback to constituents who call in on the actions each is taking and the responses internally they are getting so these reach more constituents Request 3: Provide addl prompts thru the app for constituents to ask what is being done and to record the responses thru the app in the data entry field. Request 4: Publish ongoing feedback nationally through all news/social channels and through the app by issue to promote feedback to constituents outside the app and more constituent app adoption Thanks for reading!

I am an environmental voter, and I was disappointed to see that there are no environmental issues listed on which to comment from the app. There does not appear to be a way to search for or to contact your legislators in regard to environmental matters. This is an oversight that should be added to the app.

This app takes all the fumbling, searching, and wondering what to say out of the calling process. It can't guarantee that your message will be received: some elected officials voicemail boxes are full, or a connection may be dropped, or you never know what. But this app at least makes it easy for me to reach out.

I am so grateful that someone built an app to help us all voice our outrage at what’s going on in congress! I can’t thank you enough for this tool! I am committed to making SIX calls a day because there’s just too many executive orders and all of them are important. Together we will overcome this mess!

This app doesn’t support the causes I wanted to contact congress about such as the hostages in Gaza and school choice ECCA- educational choice for children act. Seems like they only want a voice for democrat’s policies.
