705 Remote

It will not connect to my 705…..My iPad does, but the app will not. A really nice taker of storage on my iPad. Don’t download…does not function.

Wish it had support for the 718

It’s a great start to something big. I hope to see access to memory channel switching and group selection.

wonderful app and just what i was looking for... many great features... perfect for an iphone... wish it had a horizontal mode for the ipad, but still a great, no-nonsense app! FB, OM and 73!

Great when the radio isn’t visible - like when in the back pack. A dial lock function would be nice, as would access to memory channels - either in the radio or the app.

I’ve tried and tried to get this app to connect to my 705 without success. Rick, W2JAZ

Update: Something must have been incorrect on my radio. App works now..thanks for help. Iphone 6 SE

I am able to tune, change bands and filters, nothing else. I hope the developers will further develop this to cover at least all the main functions and controls in the IC-705. Please let us know what the plan is for further development.

I was able to pair my iPhone with the 705 but the app just sits there doing nothing. Not ready for prime time.

I would love to see Kappanhang integrated into this app. Then we could have PTT and audio output over WiFi. I wonder if we will get, at the very least, Bluetooth PTT and audio functionality. That would be very useful, especially when the rig is sitting inside a backpack.
