94.7 WLS-FM

I love 947WLS it’s a Chicago station and the songs I grew up listening to … 70s classic rock and those 80s pop and alternative songs are awesome from MTV days, back when I was in college. The DJs are good too. Good times!

The ads are bad enough but when you are listening to a song and you posit for whatever reason then when you put it back on the ad start all over again. The ads are about five minutes long each time you start over again. Not impressed with this app. Will delete it.

Not everyone have big data for video ads

When I first downloaded the app, there were no LONG preroll ads, but there are now. 30 seconds about some game app. And despite the fact that I have NEVER wanted the game, it has downloaded to my phone several times anyway. Forget this app. If you're a fan listen using the iheartradio app.

I love this app and listen to this station all the time! Just one problem I hope they fix in a future update: when a song plays, it still might show the previous songs' lyrics. It's kind of annoying :p but great app! Download it if you're in the chicago area!

TuneIn Radio app much better and easier to hear this and 30,000 + stations around world. WLS comes across very clear and plays in background without cutting out.

Would have five stars if it could be played in the background.

The WLS apps have not worked for a few weeks now...
