Excellent
Simple and fast app
Good app!
sometimes I use this app! But now not supported iOS 14G60 :/ even can't download older versions of the app. Very upset.
Challenging User Experience
The recent redesign of the 9to5Mac iOS app introduced a tile interface, which, unfortunately, has left me feeling frustrated. The absence of news titles on the tiles makes it difficult to quickly identify articles, forcing users to click through each tile just to understand the content. This not only hinders efficiency but also creates an accessibility issue for visually impaired users relying on VoiceOver. While I appreciate the attempt to simplify the interface, the lack of functionality compromises the overall user experience. Striking a balance between simplicity and usability is crucial, and I hope future updates address these concerns to make the app more intuitive and inclusive.
App just for subscriptions now?
Just updated and got excited for the new app to find out you now only get 3 free articles before the app becomes useless and need the subscription to read anything. I would maybe consider the monthly fee if this was truly a full native application with all the same website features. Things like Comments, consistently functioning polls, having linked articles open in the “native” app rather than the web browser, search functionality, guides, proper author bios are all nonexistent on the app. Also why have notifications for your other sites if I cannot read them in the native app? I do not support this bait and switch model with limited articles in the app and will not subscribe without more functionality being “native”. Also btw there appears to be a bug, the article headlines currently are not showing in the list as intended in your screenshots.
Dark mode does not work
Dark mode does not work on the app if you wish to read something first you need to switch to light mode to see the content.
Totally Broken
Not updating information on both my iPad and iPhone.
The app is not loading stories anymore. Please try and fix that. Thank you

Would give 3 stars but it doesn’t work at all
Used to work great, app is trash 🗑️ now and when it is working it should be called “9-5 Twitter” because it’s all about Twitter not apple
