The OFFICIAL ABRSM Flute Practice Partner is a simple way to make practising pieces for your exams more musical, enjoyable and fun.
Use Flute Practice Partner to practise with the piano accompaniment, the flute part in isolation, or the duo ensemble recording. The app will help you to:
• Become familiar with the accompaniment and understand how the solo line fits with the piano part for more secure performances.
• Make practice more musical and enjoyable by having a virtual flute partner to play along with.
• Slow down or speed up the music to a tempo that suits you, for slow careful practice.
• Listen closely to the flute in isolation to hear every detail of the expert performance.
• Set loops to repeat parts of your piece if you need to focus on one section.
• Improve your control and general technique, helping you to become a more fluent performer.
• Learn to memorise your music for more secure performances.
Flute Practice Partner comes with one example piece from Grade 1 of the NEW 2022 ABRSM Flute Exam Pieces book. In app you can purchase:
Individual pieces
• Any piece (duo or solo) from the 2022 onwards ABRSM Flute Exam Pieces books for Grades 1–7.
• Any duo piece from the 2018–2021 ABRSM Flute Exam Pieces books for Grades 1–7.
Grade selections
• All 9 pieces (duo and solo) from the 2022 onwards ABRSM Flute Exam Pieces books for Grades 1–7.

Rubbish
I’ve paid already to download the grade 6 tracks in the ABRSM book, and also four of the alternative piece accompaniments, yet I can’t play them with this app. I refuse to pay a second time. SpeedShifterLite only plays 60 seconds, so I downloaded this. I’m deleting it as it’s useless to me.
Brilliant app
Enables my student to practise to accompaniment at home. Really useful!
