I find that, while it works well in some areas, searches and results in apps like telegram easily bypass A2U. I contacted support about this but to no avail.

Keeps saying that the Accountable2You VPN won’t connect until the developer updates the app, but I have the latest version and nothing changes.

I like the model A2U has with accountability instead of filtering. The new VPN for IOS 15 worked excellent at first. Now, I’m having connection issues and slow speeds with most of my apps. Many times the times the only way to load something is to force quit the app and open it again. If that was fixed, it would be 5 stars.

I’ve had the app for several months now and overall am satisfied with how it works. My only real gripe is the VPN seems to stop apps from working, or slows them down drastically. For games on my personal phone it’s fine, reload the game usually lets it load, though when you get kicked and have to reload twice to get back in when you have seconds to respond, it’s irritating. Big one though is work apps, these have to just work otherwise my productivity is affected, especially in the field under time pressure.

This is a great app if you want to keep track of what your kids are spending their time on, how long the spend on apps/search engines, and what they are searching on search engines! A great accountability app to keep your family safe!

This app works but the vpn connectivity performance could be improved. Half the time I can’t connect to websites or get emails unless I turn the vpn off and back on. But my accountability partners get updates, so at least it works. Frustrating sometimes though

The app works well and does what it’s supposed to, but the VPN causes my internet speed by at least half. I’m stuck waiting for things as simple as the App Store to often load for multiple minutes. If that’s an issue that could be fixed, this would be a 5 star app for sure.

What drew me to this software was being able to have accountability without needing to use some 3rd party web browser and stuff. The VPN-based monitoring is a good system for that, but there are a few little bugs I’ve experienced that if fixed, would make this 5/5 stars for sure: - my banking app no longer works due to an “unsecured network”, I think it detects the VPN and blocks out for security reasons - Spotify still allows me to play songs in my library and stream albums, but playlists and radio stations are all greyed out and unavailable - often when picking up my phone after it sitting with the screen locked for a long time, the VPN is disconnected and takes quite a few seconds before reconnecting me to the internet. Again, pretty minor inconveniences and this app/system seems to work much better than others. The Mac app works very well too

We love that this app monitors in real-time without filtering. And thanks for fixing the glitch with Signal!

We have been using this program for around 3 months now. While the idea is great and we appreciated that it doesn’t block sites, only reports them, the reports have become useless half the time. For example, today’s report said “419 records” but underneath said “no records found”. On days it does this I confirm with my husband that he was in fact on his phone, using apps, searching the internet, etc. but it’s just not showing the records. We are now looking at other companies.
