So happy to read ACK again after ages. The app is surprisingly good. Registration, browsing and downloading was a very smooth process. The UI is very friendly and reading is easy. One potential improvement- detailed classification of library so that the user can filter and browse through the collection easily. Many thanks ACK for bringing childhood memories back and making it easily accessible.
The rainbow prince was so interesting but the faithful shepherd was not that good
The stories are great just they used to be when we were young. Same pictures, brings our childhood back! However, the app crashes suddenly, please help!
Amar Chitra Katha is pretty well known in India for their kid-friendly retellings of Indian mythology, classics and biographies. This app is new and appears to be an attempt to move away from their first foray into digital comics (you can still find those on the UK App Store, where each comic is an app in itself). Thankfully, the new Amar Chitra Katha app supports in-app purchases. The comics' quality has also received a boost and mostly look great. Exceptions include almost anyplace there's "handwritten" text instead of speech bubbles (e.g. the comic about Nehru), and some footnotes appear to be missing. What the app lacks is polish. The Comixology app (even the new one) simply looks and feels like a native iOS 7 app. This doesn't. However, all the functionality one expects is presents and I look forward to the developers releasing an updated version of the app with an updated UI.
Money has got auto debited even after cancelling my subscription. I tried sending several emails to customer support but got no response and tried calling their mobile number, but no one picks my calls as well. I tried raising a complaint through the app, that functionality has technical issues and can’t even raise a ticket. Regret trying their app! Pathetic experience!
Only ack no tinkle and handful comics loaded. Not the full collection same repeated in multiple languages. Kindle unlimited has all. Terrible in comparison.
I obtained a complimentary subscription through the TimesPrime App. Upon registering for the Amar Chitra Katha app, they requested my credit card information. However, upon attempting to cancel the subscription, I couldn't find an option within the app.The app automatically renewed my subscription and charged Rs. 1178 to my credit card.

Request to app developers to provide a option to read content in Hindi. I read it to my kids and sometimes it’s tiresome to translate English to Hindi
