Acne-Safe

Hello. Such ingredients like parraffinium luquidium, mineral oil and stearic acid are very comedogenic to acne-prone skin. My experience also. They are not listed in red colour. Please fix it!

Coco-caprylate/caprate is one major ingredient that gives me acne and this was one of the only ingredient checkers that let me double check if a product had it :( I did love this app but they took it off the pore clogging list which is really disappointing. Please put it back.

I put in a list of ingredients from a product that I know contains at least 3 pore clogging ingredients yet this checker said the product didn’t contain any pore clogging ingredients. It’s not accurate at all!

It's not bad, but it could be better! I personally use this app a lot and while it's good, it would be nice if the app had a section with a list of options and recommendations for acne-safe products. Just to save time, in my opinion. Someone already commented this but a scanner option would also save a lot of time instead of copying and pasting ingredients.

As someone with adult acne-prone skin, this is a game changer and I wish I had this when I was a teenager! You can copy and paste the ingredients or look at the full list and over time you get familiarized with what to look out for. I wish this had an ingredient scanner or barcode scanner to make things easier, but even with taking the time to copy and paste full list of ingredients from a website, it gives you instant feedback and It’s really helped me avoid breakout-causing ingredients.

I have copied and pasted ingredients and told it’s not pore clogging, then put the same products ingredients in again and it says pore clogging ingredients?? I have purchased products based on this saying it’s not pore clogging only to recheck the same product again with SAME ingredients list to be told it’s no good.

Awesome app, easy to use! Is there a way to contact the development team? There’s a few additional ingredients I’ve seen on lists such as this and would be interested to know if they agree to add. Thanks!
