Acronis Mobile

Asks you to set up an account and when you sign in it says the email is taken or not activated but you just put it in! The confirmation email that was supposed to be sent to your account never arrived so you can’t connect!

Runs for ages and then aborts leaving me with no backup. Sometimes it likes to tell me my subscription is expired when it is not.

This is brutal. Taking way too long for initial backup with consistent errors

Files downloaded from Cloud backup (of PC) assume a new default name, consisting of a prefix of apparently random letters and numbers, followed by the original name. This then requires the removal of this unwanted prefix prior to saving the file, creating unnecessary work for the user.

I use acronis true image on my PCs and wanted to back up my phone but there is no option to change the backup location and automatically starts backing up directly on my computer and not my external drive. Also I'm not sure the mobile backups work the same way they do on windows where the entire disk and state of the computer is backed up, this app seems to only back up photos, contacts, reminders but not other apps and their data.

Very misleading,. On the mobile app, does NOT backup contacts completely. Just the names but no detail within each contact. All the other information within each contact is missing. So be very careful if you think you have safely backed up your contacts with Acronis. Aug 9, 2020 Still has NOT been fixed. Backup of contacts still does NOT include details of each contact. Not even phone numbers and email addresses. You are better off using an app called AtoZ and email the VCF file to yourself. The store a copy of it in Notes.

Very very slow

App was working all fine when backups stopped happening. Tried manually and it stayed stuck. Signed out of my account and whenever I try to sign back in, says wrong password. Even after password reset, issue persisted. Never experienced an app this poor in cloud data management.

So if I’m reading correctly the photos that I accidentally deleted will be backed up?
