Actor Genie App

There is no app support. There is no response when they are written to be at the app, which I did twice. There is a page to submit a headshot and resume which doesn’t seem to work. I can’t get help with this. I hope someone reads this and tries to contact me, because I can’t get to contact anyone there via any other route.

This makes it so easy to see what is filming and where. If you’re being strategic about contacting casting directors or even agents/managers. This is a great tool. Makes it very helpful with constructing a game plan for yourself.

This app is so pointless, I can get all this info from actual casting sites that will allow me to actually submit to. The app gives you the CD info, but all the CD have listed themselves as "do not contact".... What am I suppose to do with that? Wish I had read the other one star reviews before I paid for this pointless/useless app.

Are you going to add Atlanta? It's number one as far as how many projects are filming here. It would make sense

I live in Texas not los angles or New York . How do I sign up?

Not useful to a professional actor working outside NY or LA, and there are a lot of us.

Awesome app with all the info an actor needs like casting director info. This also gives you all the films and tv shows that are being casted. If youre trying to get into the industry, then you need this app.

As an actor & someone who has worked in casting for years, I truly value that a celebrated CD for the past 20 years took the time to make an app that helps the professional actor. This app values actors in a town where a lot of times we are treated like children, newbies, and replaceable. I have the premium version on my phone and the free at home, so I can use it whenever I need. Having a Cliff Notes to what is going on at my fingertips is always welcome. As far as the negative complaints below about it only being in two cities, LA & NYC were not randomly chosen: they are the center cities for acting in this country. Yes, we are thrilled that acting has taken off in many regional areas, including Louisiana, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, NM, Texas, Carolinas, Boston, etc., I am not disputing that. Right now, the volume of work in LA & NYC is why the app is so valuable for those of us here trying to balance. And give the app a chance that in the future more regional areas might be added!
