I am using Decomposer AI to to organize my tasks for writing my bachelor's thesis. It really helps to work clean and systematically achieve my goals.

good app for breaking tasks into smaller steps. makes dealing with my ADHD less overwhelming. but, it would be great if there were options to customize the interface more - I need visuals that keep me hooked

So, I told this app all about my chaotic, creative self and, lo and behold, it gets me! Decomposer hasn't cured my urge to chase squirrels, but it does reel me back in with personalized nudges. But, let's be real, I still find ways to procrastinate :)

I've been using Decomposer AI for a while now, mainly to keep my game development project organized, and honestly, it's truly transformed the way I work. This app is like that super-smart buddy who not only helps you break down your godzilla-sized goals into cute, manageable baby lizards but also ensures that your productivity stays high. Although I encountered some challenges with the Eisenhower matrix feature, which could be more intuitive. But that's a minor thing compared to how much this app has helped me overall. Definitely worth trying out if you need order and clarity to complex tasks!

I have owned a phone for 20 years and this is going to be the first time I ever leave a review. I feel compelled to leave this review because I think that this app is a godsend for people like me who have a combination of decision, paralysis, ADHD and generally completely overwhelmed with life and everything that is being thrown at them. I used to be a very productive powerhouse back in the day before a child and all of the daily urgent responsibilities that have now inundated my life. I am barely able to keep up now and the last two years have been very miserable for me. I looked into getting a life coach to help me feel motivated and tap into my passion but also to help me stay organized and on track however after being quoted between 6000 and $7000 I realize that that was not a path that I could pursue. I know that I really need personalized help somebody to be interested and ask me what’s going on and ask follow-up questions and pitch ideas on how to move forward and so I looked at AI assisted task managers and after testing about four different ones I landed on this one. It is really really amazing and I haven’t used all of the features yet, but I’m really impressed. Of course there are some bugs and kinks that need to be ironed out because I think this app is relatively new, but I really believe in their approach and I wanted to leave this review to thank them and make sure that I can contribute to helping the team and the product to continue growing and providing such valuable support. Thank you!

Context is everything and Google, ChatGPT or thesaurus.com wasn’t the dev’s friend when listing ‘decompose’ as one of many synonyms for ‘breakdown’. I’m testing a few ai driven project/task management apps. This one has potential, but the name is killing it for me. Think about the number of times you’ve heard the word decompose used in reference to a dead body or the breakdown of other organic material. Now think about the number of times you’ve heard decompose used in reference to activities, projects, etc. ‘Decompose’ doesn’t exactly inspire visions of productivity either. Adoption is a steep climb… how much more so if people feel awkward using the name when talking to others? If downloads and adoption are steadily growing at a rate that meets the dev’s goals, consider my perspective meritless.

For someone whose task list looks like a receipt from CVS, this app really worked. Tried it for my DIY thing - pomodoro timer and focus tunes were surprisingly effective. Made less of a mess than usual 👍🏽

So I always attempt to plan my projects so that I minimise procrastination and become more efficient but I often have trouble foreseeing the individual or smaller hidden tasks that lead up to big projects getting down without getting off track and I didn’t expect too much from the AI here but it broke everything down into smaller tasks and then broke that down again ! The prioritization matrix is a must have addition as well. I love having detailed clarity on everything a project might take to succeed and it really helps to eliminate unforeseen obstacles. Very underrated so thank you so much for making this  app ! ♡ ♡ ♡
