The app has so many bugs I’m giving up on using it. Don’t bother wasting your time until they invest money in to the app

It’s nice to get the notifications but having to log in every single times is horrendous.

Tried out this messenger…was good for a day but for some reason after a day, I would stop receiving notifications I got messages…randomly I hoped back on the site and saw I had 6 messages I hadn’t read but the app marked them as read…had to apologise to the other people and was even told they had a similar issue and on their end it says I had read the message and then apparently ignored them… not great for trying to build connections

Very limited compared to online. Once you download the app to your phone there is seemingly no going back to the online version via internet on your phone for some reason. I can’t see my own profile, so can’t update it. I can’t look at or search for other profiles (unless I have a profile name to search with) that I can find which makes finding or establishing contact with anyone new a non event. I can’t see who has looked at my profile. The content of profiles of those who contact me is limited compared to what I was able to see online e.g. personal particulars & interests & validations are not viewable. About all this app it is good for is continuation of pre pre existing saved or deleted messages or current/ongoing messaging if someone gets in contact. All that makes this app little better than other available messaging apps. Really disappointing not to mention frustrating ..........

Pretty easy to use. It’s mostly just the message part but that’s mostly what I use anyway and it’s easier getting the notifications this way. Hoping for a few more bits and pieces of the main site soon though.

It's been a long time coming but I am loving the instant notifications for Messenger instead of having to login to see if I have a message reply. The ability to video call would be good. Hope this will be in a future update.

The IOS AMM app is far from complete, but it's early days and I trust there are improvements in the works. Full integration with the underlaying website is missing which is a pity It's a simple messenger app and it's similar to the website's own built in Messenger with a few improvements like the ease of uploading images from the Phone camera. The notifications are where it shines though. Getting that ping when you've been messaged or matched, alone is worth the installation. I hope AMM build on this and expand the functionality.

This is a great app for messaging other members and sharing photos. It’s great to now get notifications on my phone as soon as I get a message. I was hoping to see the other site features on the app so messaged their support about it and was told that the app will continue to be updated so I’ll be looking forward to the newer app versions as well.

Hardly worth the download. Only acts as a messenger with existing contacts . You’ll need to go back over to the site to interact. Don’t bother!

If you thought messaging on AMM couldn’t get any worse, this app will surprise you! Terrible functionality and they "fixed" the carriage return problem on the AMM web interface by completely removing the carriage return button. Even basic core functions like double tapping space to insert a period stop don’t work. Like, you’d have to go to some serious effort to wilfully remove those functions from a mobile OS keyboard. Please, AMM… You need to invest proper money in development. It seems you have survived for years despite your best efforts to fail.
