Subscriptions are managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your iTunes Account Settings. Crashes Ipad

As most reviewers have said, the app crashes your Ipad, a good app gone bad. Needs to be updated for Ipad, works OK on iPhone.

Crashes iPad

The old issue of this App crashing my iPad has resurfaced. App is unusable now. How many times does this have to be reported before something is done? Poor service.

iPad with latest iPadOS - freezes and then crashes/reboots every session. Surely ADVFN have the skills to fix this. If ADVFN were bothered about their customers and their own pride and reputation they'd fix this and not tolerate their current rating of just 1.5 out of 5. ADVFN - please respond.

Still unusable on an iPad

22 Oct 2023: The chat facility is now unusable, even on a brand new iPad. Locks the device, changes the handles, triggers an auto reboot several times an hour, overheats on the back. In Monitor it is even putting the share prices temporarily on the wrong line……..

Expensive and difficult to cancel

As has been said, it will crash the iPad. Used to be good.

Crashes iPad

This issue seemed to be resolved but after another iOS update, the ADVFN App continues to lock up and crash my iPad again. Come on guys, sort this out! Unable to use ADVFN at all.

Crashing

The app keeps crashing since the latest Apple IOS 15.6.1 update. Please advise, thanks. UPDATE 14/10/22: The problem appears to have been resolved. UPDATE 09/02/23: Since IOS 16.3 update we're back to crashing the iPad again, grrr!

iPad seized

When are ADVFN going to fix this app’s problem with iPads? iPad seized on Quotes screen (pretty basic requirement), couldn’t close app or power off the iPad. It eventually rebooted itself, so I deleted the app, as this has happened before and others are having the same problem on iPads. Very poor from ADVFN.

IPad problems

Partly agree with the previous review. Don’t install, or use with care, on an iPad. If you open up discussions it hangs the iPad and you have to reboot. However, it works here OK for monitoring prices. On an iPhone 12 it all works as it should. So it’s an iPad issue. Still waiting for a fix. The other irritant is that the app doesn’t track discussion threads that have been read between the app and the web interface.
