Costs too much to be competitive
This game could be great if it didn’t cost so much for normal players to be competitive. Value for purchases is terrible and you will not be remotely competitive without spending.
Misleading Title
Terrible Age of Empires game. A complete bait and switch. If you want to play because you see it’s branded as Age of Empires it is not the same gameplay, at all.
Same name different game
Nothing like the old game. If they just made it like the old AOE2. It would have been all we need.
Poor gameplay

Pretty standard beginning, highlighted icons telling you where to go. Not much like the pc gave so far. Good graphics though.
Normal Pay to Win but fun
The game was a lot of fun at first. Then they annoyances some kind of event that led most of the game to stop fighting to prep for the big event. So it’s been a month and a very boring month. If I didn’t already put money in I’d have stopped by now. They don’t seem to listen to input or care. We want battlefield survivor back. Not a pointless click story mode. Still fun. But I wouldn’t start at this point in the game. No war. No fun games. Same old “farming” for resources everyday
Not the Age of empires we miss
This is a horrible pay to win game with the name Age Of Empires and unfortunately made with permission from the original AOE creators. This doesn’t play like the older games and is pay-walled so you have to spend lots of money to get ahead without having to wait an eternity. Such a shame for this game to have such a significant name.
