TAKE NOTES. DATE NOTES.
Agenda’s unique timeline approach to organizing notes gives your projects momentum. While other apps focus specifically on the past, present, or future, Agenda is the only notes app that keeps track of each in a single timeline.
Add notes for what is currently on your agenda, while you prepare other notes for an upcoming meeting. Use older notes as breadcrumbs to remind yourself why you took the actions you did.
WHAT'S ON THE AGENDA?
You can attach dates to individual notes, and even link them to events in your calendar. But you can also put them “On the Agenda”.
Notes that are On the Agenda are given special status. They get added to an overview in the sidebar so you can find them in a flash.
THE 'MEANING FULL' TEXT EDITOR
Agenda support styles like headings, lists, tables, indented blocks, and preformatted text. You focus on the content, and leave Agenda to handle the appearance.
GET ATTACHED TO AGENDA
You can easily add file attachments to notes, which then sync across your devices. Files can be previewed, and images displayed as thumbnails or full-sized.
NOTE-ALLY ORGANIZED
Group your projects into categories to make them easier to find, and order the notes for each project however you choose. You can drag them around, apply dates, or use a mixed approach. You can also collapse notes to save space.
MANY DEVICES, ONE AGENDA
Nobody wants data silo-ed on one device, so Agenda has apps for Mac, iPad, and iPhone, and they sync up via your iCloud or Dropbox account.
You can also collaborate with others on shared notes. Anyone joining can help edit the note. It's great for a family shopping list or a team meeting.

I manage projects for a small design firm, and would long ago have been overwhelmed without Agenda. Every meeting corresponds with a note, and automatically pulls in details of the meeting. Every project has a whole slew of notes containing everything I need. I have a little wish list of things Agenda could add, but I'm very much depending on it from day to day.
I would add that the business model is great and very respectful of the user. You get to keep features you pay for even if you stop paying. That is a true subscription. What other developers are offering is usually a *rental* that stops working the minute you stop paying. I've had about enough of that at this point, and Agenda is a breath of fresh air in this regard.
Great app, but has some issues
It's a great app with a lot of functionality, the only frustration for me is how app performs with tables. Functionality is bare simple and performance (while working with tables) is awful, on both Mac OS and iOS.
Flexible, easy, helpful
I am a disorganized mess, but Agenda has helped me get through a number of projects. It's a very clean, unfussy, and smart tool. Calendar integration is perfect. I trust it.
Doesn't play well with others
This is a wonderful note-taking app, and it integrates well with Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders. That's the end of the list, though. If you use Things, or OmniFocus, or any other system for managing tasks or projects, you're stuck.
Unfortunately, I am finding myself moving toward apps which have better extensibility and integration.
AGENDA is my Go-To App
I love it. I use it for notetaking, for planning my writing and podcast episodes, and for journaling.
I'm not exactly a power-user, but I did upgrade to Premium so I could access all the coolness that Premium brings with it.
I've tried ALL the apps, believe me.
Agenda is king.
Can't even get what I did pay for
I "bought" this yrs ago , found it lacking but it was new and very frustrating, lacked so much, at least at that time. But I did PAY for it and regreted having done so. At that time many others out did it. That said...so I had heard (you all emailed me a ad of the upgraded version), and I read the reviews... when I tried to get my account just to see what I do have, I can't find it anywhere! But then I realized:
1. Its not made with any help for those of us with physical challenges (eye sight for example) Seriously? I know some believe their is a "socio economic issue with disabled, I totally disagree, regardless, many of us in professions (Im a practitioner with a couple of rare condtions and one effects my eye sight badly, and even my new MACBook Pro has a way for me to use a micro glass over individual words or scale higher when reading smaller fonts using control key and two finer swipe up (I swipe any diretcion to return to the norm) Im swiped to write this, could not read this tiny font without closing one eye as it is, and barely can then, so I do the built in disabiltiies function)... you know how many average (so to speak) websites now developed with one click of a button to provide thisfunction... And you don't, why in world not?!
2 Additionally, Im confused, can you are can you not print your notes, can I or can I not save them elsewhere, such as backed up on a cloud (if I so choose) or my hard drive? You know how many apps crash and lose peoples work? I read what you have on here for those who don't like that..HTML back up, you gotta be kidding me! Im not a programmer (have zero desire to be, and the two "VERY" limited options are not truly "Options"...not sure who your target population is, but its sure not those of us that write for a living, and operate multiple businesses, clinics, community programs etc. I can be assured of that from the simple basic inability to save my notes/work in various locations! I couldn't believe what i was reading!
It appears to me that you all may well have a great note taking / organizing app for those of us that muti task, and yet, we can't back up our work? Im reliant on your company? That's simply not wise of ANY app/company. My patient files are backed up (HIPPA encrypted of course, but we don't rely on ONE system even in our records system!
I piublish artilces and books in non ficion that can take me two yrs to write, and if i wanted (which was my initial plan) to organize my notes in this app... yo
No Visible Calendar
I searched for a simple "text" calendar and after installation, this has the word "calendar" in the options but none appears.
All I need is a ultra simple calendar where you can write text in the date boxes.
Great app with a solid team supporting it
Agenda has been a big asset to my productivity for many years. A powerful, flexible, general purpose, note-taking app. The development team is continually adding new features that are substantial. Their payment/ownership arrangement is better than any other company's subscription plan that I've seen. The interface is very good. It's an enjoyable tool to work with.
One of My Favorite App!
5 Stars! I can't recommend this app even more! Fantastic interface!
Needs PC Browser Support
Everything about this app is beautiful, reduces cognitive overload, and would be an essential support to many of us in the disabled community. Unfortunately, Mac products are a product marketed to the affluent and middle-class, and since most disableds live under the poverty line, this incredible tool is not available to us.
I love using this app, I bought it years ago and still tell people about it, but most of the people I share this with are just not the target demographic. I would love to give this 5 stars but first, we need accessibility. I know it may not be your aesthetic, but if this company wants to see their product change the world of disableds, they must make it accessible.
