Problematic Hardware
I use this app with an Mbeat portable WiFi DVB transmitter. The app itself works OK but the Mbeat transmitter is a tricky, tricky beast. Many factors seem to affect the tuner's reception quality. A precise sequence of tuning & external power is required to make it work perfectly, failing this you just get a degraded/pixelated picture. None of this is documented in the manual. Another major limitation is the app does not support HD channels. One HD, 7Mate etc result in "Video Not Supported" error. Pretty weak considering we've been broadcasting HD in Australia for 14 years now.
