I tried connecting multiple times using the different configuration options. Nothing seemed to work, even using a different router. Yes, I used the 2.4 GHz wifi. What I did find is the Feit Electric app I use to control my lights found the air purifier immediately and connected without any problem. It seems like a lot of internet connected devices utilize the same framework when it comes connecting them to an app but don’t have them set up reliably.

After many attempts to get it to connect to one of my units I was able to pair with the unit. But the next time I tried to log on all I got was incorrect password and I haven’t been able to reconnect since

Apparently this is the wrong app when trying to connect to the Airdog Pro. Use the Airdog app. Or, be a smarticle and just use the Tuya app that all these clones are based on.

Same issue here as several others have noted. The app worked well for the first week. Then it started dropping the connection and I had to reset the air purifier and log in to the app again. Did that 3 or 4 times and then it started telling me that I was using the “incorrect password.” I tried to reset the password, using the “forget password” link. All it does is an endless spinning wheel of death. No email to reset the password ever comes. I tried to set up the account again and the system says the user already exists. The air purifier itself seems to work well. Although I just started getting the “—C—“ symbol on the readout when the unit does not appear to be dirty. First time this happened this morning, but I have only had the unit for a few months. We’ll see if this continues.

I purchased a bundle package .. two 5’s and one 8 .. The whole experience of contacting customer support regarding missing 8 model and not being able to sign on to account .. was horrific and now trying to download app and sync with my unit .. not happening .. just deleted !! Kronos has a beautiful product but needs to step up their customer support ASAP!!

I used to have an account but since I changed my phone I redownloaded the app. I entered my account and it told me the account does not exist so I tried “forget my password”, it still tells me the account does not exist. So I tried sign up with the same email address and it tells me the account already exist! What a joke!

This is a basic app allowing you to see the basic functions of the Air purifier. One glaring omission is the inability to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit.The timer only allows for programming of days and times. It does not allow for fan speed. So if you want to set the unit to automatically come on after you go to work at a high speed and lower right before you come home to a lower speed you cannot do that.

Hard to feel good about this expensive air purifier when the app is so poor. Absolutely zero connectivity so no value in app at all. Like to think that the device is actually working but with the totally disfuntional app it’s hard to have confidence.

The app is so laggy that it is pissing me off. Looking at the unit and it shows 85, opening the app and it shows 101, so you have to close the screen and press on the unit again to open the details screen and then it updates three level. Buttons are laggy, you have to push Power button in the app multiple times to bring the unit up from the standby mode. The unit costs $600, how on Earth can this app be so crappy??

I like it. I can control my devices from anywhere using my phone. I can even see how good or bad the air is. Doesn’t like vpn connection. I don’t like that.
