Airports plus includes an offline database of thousands of multi-detail world airports for high speed search in flight and on the ground.
Airports plus is universal: One purchase allows the use of Airports plus on both your iPhone/iPod touch AND on the iPad, optimized for HD split screen graphics, including satellite and regular maps.
Search by IATA, ICAO, Name, City or a combination of any. A list of search results appears while you type. Store your favorites in a separate list and add your personal notes to each individual airport. Backup your notes or share with other users.
User maintained database of approach types. Add and correct approaches to any runway and help growing the best approaches collection on iOs.Your contributions will go live for all users to see instantly.
One-click current weather information (METAR/TAF) as well as VOLMET stations (VHF and HF) worldwide
Airport information includes:
- Runway layout (offline & fullscreen)
- Coordinates
- Elevation
- Timezone reference to UTC (winter and summer)
- quick indication of the longest runway available
A list of most common radio frequencies including:
- ATIS
- Approach
- Director
- Ground
- Tower
- De-icing
…and others
A list of all runways including:
- dimensions (length and width) in feet or meters
- information on displaced thresholds
- Runway Heading
- Surface
- Lighting
Provided internet connection:

Так себе
Существует более достойные программы. Справедливости ради стоит отметить, что она стоит своих 3 долларов. Лучше купите AeroWX или Airpotrs
Support nicht mehr vorhanden
App ist nur so gut wie die Aktualität. Leider ist der Support und somit die Datenpflege praktisch nicht mehr existent. Es werden weder veraltete, noch neue Daten gepflegt. Keinerlei Reaktionen auf Emails durch den Kontakt-Reiter. Ich hatte mehrfach auf veraltete Frequenzen, bzw. neue Frequenzen hingewiesen, keine Antwort, keine Reaktion. So nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Wenn keine Lust mehr, dann auch bitte die App aus dem Store entfernen.

Schneller Überblick
Ich komme zB. noch nicht an meine Briefing-Unterlagen heran oder ich weiß nicht welcher Flughafen sich hinter der Kennung versteckt? Da kann mir aber schon dank Airports Plus in allen möglichen Lebenslagen zügig einen ersten Überblick verschaffen, garniert (bei einer Internetverbindung) mit aktuellem Wetter, Vorhersagen und Notams. Die App ist sehr ansprechend und für den effektiven IFR Piloten fast unverzichtbar.

Tolle App mit besten Informationen. Permanent Updates, so dass alles immer auf aktuellem Stand ist. Maximal empfehlenswert!!!
App unbrauchbar nach Update
Nach dem letzten Update optimiert die App die Database beim Aufrufen und schließt sich danach sofort wieder. Unbrauchbar.

Endlich sind die Airports auch in Gruppen speicherbar. Darauf habe ich schon lange gewartet. Auch die altbekannten Funktionen bringen den schnellen Überblick -ob in der Luft oder am Boden. Udates der Datenbank werden regelmäßig nachgereicht. Vielen Dank für eine tolle Piloten-App mit super Preis-Leistung.
