Al Jazeera English

After the last IOS update on Apple TV, Live feed is now in Arabic and no longer in English….. Surely based on the name, this is basic functionality that does not work, so is rather misleading?

The old Al Jazeera app used to load instantly. This new version of it? Definitely not. All you get is this blue splash page which can stay on for anything between long time and forever. Other news apps, like the BBC, Reuters, Apple News, etc. they load instantly. Why Al Jazeera can’t do the same?

Wish they would bring this app back rather than the joke of a new app they have

Such a shame that this App is no longer supported, it was a great source of global news and, unlike its successor, could be viewed in landscape mode on iPad.

Does not scroll down in articles I contacted the company they failed to fix or communicate! No telephone number either to speak to anyone! Very poor customer service!

Scrolling within a news item is erratic

I don’t know what’s going on in the background, but the app is awful to use on an iPhone 8 with 15.1 software. Extremely jerky scrolling makes it impossible to read articles. Deleted within the minute. Shame, as the articles seem good but I found it unusable. Edit - the Al Jazeera “one app” (dark blue logo) is much better and “normal” - this orange one is nearly useless; get the blue app instead

Hundreds of buttons offering latest news, particular articles, features, programmes etc etc etc etc … but none of the buttons work. Pity really. You’d think some testers would have discovered that. Please fix.

Otherwise…good app with great news articles and top notch reporting.

Needs UX refresh to fix this annoying experience.
