Al Murtaza

Welcome to Markazi Imam Bargah Al-Murtaza. We are one of several Muslim organizations in the Greater Houston area and our mission is to strengthen the faith of the believers in our community through the Holy Quran as defined and taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammad and his family, the Ahlul-Bayt (may peace and blessings be upon them all).
Al-Murtaza holds the following regular programs:
Thursday Evening Programs: Hadis-e-Kisa, followed by Dua-e-Kumail
Friday Prayers
Commemorations of the birthdays and deaths of the fourteen Masoomeen (a.s.)
Ramadan Program: Daily speech by the moulana, followed by jamat namaz and iftar preparations
Moharram Program: Daily marsia, lectures, and matam dari from 1st Moharram to 9th Rabi-Awwal
Additionally, the Imam bargah is open to anyone in our community looking to host a milaad, nikkah, or esal-e-sawab majlis. Please contact us if you would like to book an event at our Imam bargah or simply pay us a visit.
