I like the app and I could even hope for some more trails recorded by other people. I tried recording some of my own, but some minor UX mistakes made this process a bit weird - it should be easier without any learning curves. But other than that all good and I’m hoping to see the product being kept up to date.
UPDATE: Previous issue resolved. Solid hiking app. Very well done maps with plenty of trails that are lacking from other sources. Which is useful because my main complaint now is that it doesn’t always let you know when you went the wrong way on your route. So pay attention to the map and you’ll be fine.
Good for finding info on trails, but the tech is glitchy for recording trails. Failed to keep me on route and would not resume after a pause. Recorded a 4 hour hike as 38 minutes.
All trails does a great job of showing me trails in my area, but only a few hikes. I would like to be able to choose some trails and make my own hike and name it before I go. Please make that for me.
This is by far the most accurate GPS tracking app I’ve tried. The only thing I would change would be to allow for editing routes for those times you forget to end the hike and drive home. I hate to delete the whole hike yet I don’t want to include the drive in my stats.
Does this app work with Apple’s Family share? If so, how?
I thought this was free when they market it as not being any money but in reality you have to buy a subscription to aces most of the app!!
If you try the free trial, be sure to cancel on time, or they’ll automatically charge you for an entire year.
Love this app but always found the user reviews helpful to know if the easy, mod, hard tags were accurate. Where did they go? Just see the number of stars now.
I paid full price a year ago and then a month later I am seeing an on going ad on facebook discounting the app for $12 bucks cheaper. If they are lowering their price why do they not give users a credit.
