Abby’s First Words is a colorful, fun educational experience for curious young minds. Breath-taking sceneries, child-friendly interface, and adorable illustrations incite children’s imagination and learning. Children trace letters, learn letter names, listen to letter sounds, and recognize and spell names of animals.
Abby’s First Words offers the following three exciting game modes:
TRACING
Trace uppercase and lowercase letters!
* After tracing a letter and thus practicing their hand-writing skills, children learn names of animals that begin with a given letter and listen to the phonetic sound that the letter makes by tapping on the sound icon.
READING
Recognize written names of animals and match them to their pictures!
* In this mini game, children practice their memory for words as well as recognition of animals. To tailor the app to children’s diverse levels of expertise, parents can convert this game to either a reading or a simpler word matching game.
SPELLING
The letters in the names of animals got all mixed up. Arrange the letters in the right order to make the word!
* This game is great for raising children’s awareness of the connection between letters and words and increasing their interest in nature by familiarizing them with names of animals.

Great app for any kindergartener
The app is laid out beautifully. The ui is very friendly for little children. My son loves the app and will do practically anything to spend more time on it. I like this because while he is playing he is learning at the same time. As a parent I would recommend this app to any parent with kindergarteners.
Really helpful app for kids!
Highly recommended! This app is very engaging, and really simple to learn. In a day when there's a number of apps you don't your kids to be using, I recommend this app, and would feel comfortable letting my kids use this app for a long time!
High quality educational app for little ones
A great app for kindergarten age children to learn letters, spelling, and reading. My daughter loves playing each of the 3 games and is learning something new each time she plays. Kudos to the developers of this game as it is very well designed.
Literacy through recognition!
Kindergarten Reading, Tracing, and Spelling provides kindergarten children with all these skills through the power of recognition. These 3 engaging games provide kindergarten children with learning opportunities from tracing letters, reading and matching names and letters, as well as arranging letters in the correct order to spell the correct word! The images are carefully illustrated and the sounds differ greatly and add variety to the game. Additionally, the app can be vastly customized from the number of letters per word to appear as well as whether the letters should appear lowercase, uppercase, or capitalized! The endless variety keeps kindergarten children guessing and coming for more time after time!
Fun for my 5 year old.
My 5 year old is just getting into reading, this app is a great addition to the process.

Many children's apps online just allow for playing games. I love the act that 22Learn has taken the initiative to develop these learning games. Great for kids just learning to spell. My kids love Abby Monkey!
Another amazing game for Kindergarten👍👯
What a great way to combine having fun and learning. very friendly UI for kids, my daughter will do any chore, just to let her keep playing the game after, that's how addictive and fun the game is. As a parents I will recommend it to any parent with Kindergarten kid. it offers a lot of fun games and lesions that you can't resist .👍❤️
Letter sounds?
The description states that letter sounds will be worked on in this app. I saw no evidence of letter sounds being used, nor could I find a setting to turn it on. I think the spelling portion is great for my classroom unfortunately I won't show it to my students as they are learning to associate letter sounds to letters not their letter names.
