This app works OK, but for some reason last night it asked for my password. And because I did not have my password, I asked for a reset; it says it will send an email to reset, but now it has been 12 hours, and no reset code. This morning I called my dealer, he said he would send a reset code. It’s been 30 minutes, and no reset code. You have created an app for a security system, and we pay a lot of money for security monitoring, but when we have an actual problem, you have no support to solve it.
Terrible alarm
Mine breaks down annually. When it is not broken it is triggered constantly by wind, bugs etc so it goes off every second. Does not differentiate a person from wind or a bug. Useless.
Doorbell camera won’t play back videos
Recent update must have broken the function to play doorbell videos on iPhone app. Useless
Recent Problems
Convenient app but experiencing issues with no readily available solutions. 2 months in … after month one issues with doorbell app failing to capture activity & needed technician to come. Almost in month 2 now video clips not playing back in app on iPhone 14
Works when it wants
The entire system has faults and I can’t arm it from the keypad. I can’t arm it from the app because it’s always off-line.
More functionality would be helpful
App works well on iPhone for me. Would really like to see Apple Watch and CarPlay capabilities like other leading apps I use frequently. Given the relative ease of doing this given there is already an iPhone app, I’m surprised in 2024 these are not yet available. Sent company a couple emails on this but there is no feedback loop so unsure if this is on the roadmap.
Quit Opening
The app was working great until today when it wouldn’t even open. I even tried deleting it and re-downloading it. Nothing.
Unable to access
The app was working last night, but now I unable to open the app to have access.
Latest App update
May5th. After your latest App update. Still occurs. Attention Alula app developers: using iOS 17.4.1 on a iPhone12. The app icon has a notification counter (red filled circle with white numeral for notification count). This does not go away, even when opening the app to review the notifications. My app currently shows 40 “unread” notifications. Another poster on the app feedback in the Apple Store is reporting same issue. Family is having the same issue as well. Suspect there is a bug with the app once iOS 17.4.1 was released.
No complaints until a recent update
I’ve had this app for years and it worked perfectly to know when doors were opened and closed, turn off the alarm, etc. Nothing fancy but gets the job done well. Now after a recent update it keeps giving notifications that I can’t figure out how to view/clear. My app icon now has over 200 notifications I can’t get rid of. I work in an IT field and am typically pretty tech savvy, but just don’t see an obvious place to clear these in the app. It’s annoying to see 200+ notifications and not really know if there’s something real that needs my attention or not.
