Amino Acid Academy

This app is an amazing tool not only to learn and memorize, but to also test your knowledge on amino acid naming and structures. I am very thankful to the creators and I wish that they would create more for Vitamins and Lipids and nucleotides and all the fun Biochemistry stuff. Five stars

Great app for learning the names, 3 & 1 letter codes, and recognizing the structure of amino acids. Would be a nice addition if there was a mode that quizzed based on categorization with questions like “identify the amino acid with the negatively charged side chain at pH 7.0”. Otherwise a very good free app for getting down the basics of the 20 common amino acids.

I have been using this app to study for bio chemistry, it was quick and efficient and straight to the point. Use it wherever you’d like.

It works perfectly. Fore some feedback, I would advise you to add the same game just with the structures made with a chem drawler. Otherwise Highscores would be great and maybe a function that allows you to see, where you make most mistakes so you can do a round with the AA that you get wrong most of the time. Otherwise a Highscore with the most correct guesses you have had would be cool. Very well made app though!

Im having to learn the amino acid structures and this app has been so so so helpful! I love how it quizzes you on names and structures! Only suggestion I could make would be to add in hydrophobicity!

So far so good, I love how simple it is. It's a great way for me to learn the molecular structure of different amino acids.
