Since 2012 Amsterdam Light Festival has been illuminating the city centre of Amsterdam with unique light artworks. For the twelfth edition we're offering visitors a brand new festival app. The app is a digital addition to one's walking experience, as it contains all the information about the route, artworks, artists, edition theme (LOADING...) and more.
THE FESTIVAL APP
- Via the homepage it is possible to access the menu and the route map.
- The menu contains several subjects, such as practical information, a news and updates blog, nautical rules for private boats and frequently asked questions.
- Via an in-app purchase the route map becomes visible.
ROUTE MAP
- The map contains the locations of all the artworks. Users can swipe between the artwork icons.
- By tapping an icon, more information becomes visible.
- For each artwork there is written information and audio available.
- The information points and festival hub are also indicated.
- In addition to that, users can enable location services and view street names.

Handig maar nog veel verbetering mogelijk

+ De duidelijke route en zien waar je bent - Geen optie om taal aan te passen (aan het einde hoorde ik dat er ook een Nlstalige versie bestaat - - - zodra telefoon op lock gaat/scherm uit, houdt audio ook op. Echt irritant.

Geen route te zien. Zonde van het geld

Waar is de beloofde route? Heb kaart gekocht en betaald, maar ik zie geen route. Flinke tegenvaller en zonde van het geld

Betalen niet mogelijk

Wil de kaart kopen maar krijg de verkeerde betaal instellingen. Super irritant dat dit de enige manier is dat je de kaart kunt aanschaffen. Waar is de optie voor IDeal?

App werkt nog steeds niet

Is absoluut de € 7,99 niet waard! De light route valt ook erg tegen. Gevaarlijk lopen langs de gracht

Downloaded app, immediately get error message, and app is unusable.

Can‘t open the app

Unfortunately I cannot open the app. The only screen ,that I can see , shows ‘ the operation couldn’t be completed’ error

When I try to open the app, an error pops up saying “ The operation couldn’t be completed. (Amsterdam-LightFestival.AnyLocalizedError error 1.)
