Your buildings could get on fire and you have to pay for the creative mode
I think you should add more buildings like docks and castles
The villagers appear to get stuck in the well and stop bringing water.
1. You cannot build a ‘Well’ touching (next) any building/farm because the villagers won’t pick up water to put out the fire in the building. 1.5: If 2 buildings that are next to each other are burning, the villagers will only put water in one of them and won’t put out the fire in the other one. 2. Even when it says I’ve scared away the dragon, the dragon still continues to fly through the land to shoot fire onto my buildings. 3. Whenever I start play for 30+ minutes, the app crashes and resets me back to where I was ~15 minutes ago. (Maybe this is because I have an iPhone 7 Plus and not an iPhone 37837463 plus)
It could have been better and I think if they made it save your progress and creative mode for free it would be better
I really want to buy the full version but I can’t spend money on a glitchy game. The AI aspect is a bit bonkers. It’s like my villagers are pinballs and have to hit a certain shoreline before going to their task. This makes everything take a lot longer including outing out fires which results in rebuilding. . I also wish I could see how many idle villagers I have. If putting fires out depends on empty hands, I would like an indication. Because the idle villagers move around, it’s hard to tell who’s working and who’s hanging out. . I have t been playing but a day and I hope there are more buildings. If not I do t see myself playing longer. . I wish I could delete buildings and roads. I accidentally put a road somewhere and that’s just my life. The what I though were temporary resource storages are permanent obstacles in building. . I wish I needed more resource eventually, just more to work toward. . The glitches are so often that I’ve decide when the game starts breaking I do the freeze. . What I do like is the incentive to start over. I love starting over. I forget where I’m at in games all the time as I can just freeze the game and get the xp no stress. I also love the ability to place buildings where I want a d the collecting is easy but also can be a challenge. The graphics are cute, clean, and pleasing to the eye. I’ve only played a day, there could be hidden surprises I havent seen yet but this is my initial response to a great game that I want to buy but falls a hair short.
The idea of the games is great. Real time city building while attempting to fend of a dragon, but the main problem is villager management. 1. No total count of villagers Also no count per job villagers are doing 2. No way to prioritize tasks I attempted to focus on building a house while villagers were chopping trees but I could not add a builder. My thought on this would be to have general villagers that would work as collectors of resources and automatically be balanced between resource collection and building. Then if you wanted you could add builders to a building to work on it more quickly, taking villagers off resource collection. 4. Villagers idle when there are tasks to do 5. When adding workers no message on where they are coming from or if any workers are available. 6. Fortresses are under powered. I had 4 fortresses surrounding 5 houses, council hall government center, and 2 farms, but they were still being lit on fire. I tried increasing the number of workers in the fortresses but it still did not work.
I was enjoying the game until I somehow mistakenly turned off my hud. I couldn’t get it back so I exited the game and reentered and the last two hours or so of progress was undone. Two hours down the toilet because my hud disappeared. I ignored the agitating bugs like when the villagers wouldn’t even try to put out fires or when one or two would just freeze in place and never do anything again, or even when they would star working and need to navigate the width of the island to move materials two blocks over. But now I’ve lost a ton of xp and can’t get it back.
This game is rough. Still. I’m waiting to unlock the full game until the Dev addresses its long-standing issues. Could be great, though. If I was confident that the game was still being actively developed, I’d buy it now in support but there is little to give me that impression.
This game has a lot of potential but there are some enjoyment killing bugs. The biggest of those is that the villagers will randomly stop working and never start again. I got to the point of having 12 upgraded houses, which should house 36 workers, but I had less than 10 villagers who would actually do anything. I had plenty of all the resources. They wouldn’t even man the towers anymore. At that point, the dragon burns stuff down faster than you can rebuild it because even though I put wells all over the place, the villages only put out 1 of 3 fires or so.
