I’ve always had great experiences & understanding from almost every physician I’ve been with. Except it doesn’t take a lot for one person to ruin it. I had asked for a doctors note for some symptoms Ive been experiencing with my lower back. I needed a note for my job, because I do a lot of standing and moving around, which includes me carrying heavy bolts of fabric. I had just started my period and usually it causes a lot of issues with my back. I don’t typically call out of work for these kinds of reasons, but I really needed to with the type of work that I do. Usually they don’t ask why I need one, but this physician in particularly was very upset to as why I needed one. I understand she was just doing her job, but the way she handled it was very unprofessional and rude. I don’t think I have to explain as to what I do at my job in order for it to be a good enough reason for her to give me a doctors note. I had paid for a medical note, there is no need to question my decision? She talked very ignorant to me rather than insightful. Worst and hopefully my last experience I will have with these people. I spent $49 on my visit today. I waited about 15 minutes for a doctor once I paid. My visit was with Santiago, Yaritza. I sent photos of my eye and told her in detail what I’m experiencing - blurry vision, redness, bumps on eye lid, pain. She said this sort of issue isn’t something antitode can help with. She prescribed me an antibiotic ointment and told me to see a eye doctor in person. I asked if she can prescribe anything for the pain and she said no besides ibuprofen.

I understand human error. But if a doctors note was missing. There should be a way to reach out to that doctor in app. Other apps do this. Instead I have to call customer service, as the app has no chat assist. Request the note and hope it finally hits my account. This is a Teladoc app. If I can’t do what I need in the app. Then it needs improving.

So far my experience is little confusion happening through different departments, but some doctors like Ethain are there to help!

How can I get a doctor note to return to work

The doctor was very nice and easy to talk to. It was great to be able to do this online and not have to go out in the cold while feeling sick.

My primary care physician is not available for several weeks and I needed a return to duty clearance note for my job. So glad I found this platform. Dr. Estes was very nice and listened to my concerns. I will definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs primary care services asap. Thank you for being here for us!

if I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a doctors note for $49 and the doctor never showed. I contacted support for a refund and they sent me a receipt but they were trying to charge my card again instead of a refund. This is absolutely ridiculous, don’t let it happen to you. Horrible app.
