Anybox - Bookmark & Read Later

I like the application, but unfortunately there are bugs and they are not fixed. When refreshing the page, the update circle is constantly hanging, and CloudKit synchronization and export are constantly failing. He wrote to the developer, he answered, offered to clear the data and reinstall the application. Nothing helped. I said it again, but he stopped answering. It's a pity, I need the application, but unfortunately they don't want to fix bugs. I haven't found any alternatives yet

Omg omg this app has so much potential. It works almost flawlessly. I just wish there was a way to wrap the text of a bookmark just so I wouldn’t have to press each bookmark individually to view them every time. Currently, the text cuts off at the end and gets replaced with ‘…’ Bookmarks (especially tweets, have very long titles so this would be nice). I could view each tweet on the main page of the app without having to press into each one separately. Please add this as an option I beg :)

works really well

Rather than deal with the clumsy bookmark management in the browsers (Safari, Firefox, Brave), this app is fantastic. Easy to use. One place for all your bookmarks.

Clean and simple

This is a pretty good bookmark app. Most of the icons don’t have a dark mode version.

This is Bookmark app is even better than I realized when I purchased it. The iCloud sync is literally perfect! And the customization options are deep, thoughtful, and well integrated throughout the app. The tag and folder system are particularly well thought out and Anybox is, perhaps, the speediest app of its kind when tagging links—tags come up instantaneously as typed. There seems to be no cruft or lag in this app, and I am beyond pleased with how well it works and how organized my links have become. The delightful touches are many. UPDATE: Anybox Pro is basically one of my favorite apps. Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe how awesome and customizable it is alongside the active development.

I started using it in 2024 and loved it. I’ve recently subscribed and was planning to take advantage of the lifetime deal but I don’t like the the fact that the Anydock is not easily moved wherever I want and the settings pits it in places that I don’t want. I’ll keep trying it for this year and see if they work out the kinks.

Very very frustrating that any bookmarks on iOS don’t show up on Mac and those on Mac dont show up on iOS despite both apps showing cloud synched. More over the time that it kinda works is only then the AnyBox app is explicitly opened on OSX. Adding bookmarks via the shortcuts does not result in synching. I’ve gotten into very bad situations where I added an important bookmark on my Mac, left home and on the road checked my iPhone only to see the important links not added. Rating this as a 1/5 purely for it’s TERRIBLE synch. Switching back to Raindrop.io which is atleast very reliable.

Love the app. It’s been amazing, honestly. My only desires are improved duplicate detection and better Firefox support. Keep up the great work!
