Unfair Subscription Policy – Foreigners Beware
I read the terms of use before purchasing and saw it clearly stated: “The subscription does not support documents from residents of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.” Since I am from Russia, I assumed this wouldn’t apply to me. However, after paying, the app asked for a Chinese ID number — which I don’t have. I contacted support and was told that the service is only available to mainland Chinese citizens, and that all foreigners are restricted from using it. If that’s the case, why wasn’t this made clear before purchase? Why accept payment from international users if we can’t even use the service? This is misleading and feels like a scam. Please be more transparent with your users.
